Absolutely hate x/c x/f, either x/c x/c on non-9's or x/f flop.

as played I don't think you can dump turn; obviously you are usually losing but you have outs when behind and u still beat combos (KQ, KK et

6 outs vs a set on the turn

Villain doesn't have KK
He beats KQs
He s decimated by sets & AK not to mention most regs think calling 89s is "stnd" here pre
Also we gotta take into consideration that BTN 3bets the MP meaning he probably doesnt have KQ in range at all and tbh his call range vs cold4bet crushes this board - I wouldnt be very surprsied if his range is TT-QQ & AKo/AKs

Actually even if Villain is fully depolarized 3bet range and doesn't fold many of them to a 4bet he still crushes this board by a large margin

looks like everyone likes that OOP cold4b sizing ?

You gotta plow through that shit !

Nah it should be 6$

not saying our equity is good obviously; just that having those outs gets us far closer to the BE point of the call (we need 26% and have 14% if our outs are clean). So we don't need to be ahead of many hands in his range to make this a call (if we had something that never improved we need to be ahead more often). PLO mindset i guess

fuck the blockers though he probably peeled AK and flopped the nuts. This is really just such a bad flop for you, he may have KQs, AQ which u block heavily, not much else to beat. Unless he peels 77 pre to ur small 4b and decides to bluff u off aa (u have a lot of ak though so u are protected from that and its uncommon anyways).

i think for this hand only your sizing preflop is fine. if u want to have a more balanced approach your sizing should go bigger.

the rest of the hand im playing the same. those arguing for a turn call i think are overly optimistic.

You're getting 27% pot odds so in order for this to be a +ev turn call, this is the range we have to give him....

QQ-TT,98s,7c6c,Ac5c,6c5c,Ac4c,5c4c,Ac3c,Ac2c,AKo

Vs that range we have 29% but this is what I meant by saying I think the people that say call turn are overly optimistic.

This to me seems a bit more realistic....

QQ-TT,9d8d,9h8h,7c6c,Ac4c,Ac3c,AKo

Vs this range we have 20%

There does happen to be a big difference if I include QJs and JTs in villain's range. If he has every combo of each of those, then this becomes more of a breakeven call, however I think these hands aren't always being 3bet on the button and I also think they aren't calling the 4bet 100%.

You can't just limit his range to good draws and made hands. With the line we took he can possibly have his whole preflop calling range. If we bet the flop we can narrow down his range a lot more. I think if you check the flop you have to do it with the intention of calling any bets he makes.

I think those are pretty good ranges marshall, i'm just not sure this guy is playing solid enough that i would give him just those cc combos that picked up equity on the turn. Might figure he ships turn with almost anything that bet flop

I'd advice to bet bigger preflop coz playing bullets oop we should put as much monies in the pot as we can

how about jamming pre against the 3bet

stacks seem not deep enough for an OOP 4bet - there's not a good sizing we can use where we are able to fold to shove and at the same time price out some some of the 3bettor's range

flop i would check/jam, hand needs protection and not enough SPR to play a turn

I like betting flop
