That 1010 call I really thought you were about to catch a bluff from a missed sd or counterfeited 2 pair (well he had 2pair before riv just the wrong 2)

Nice to win that last hand!

JcJsQs6s hand seems close, if ur getting this in it be at the bottom of the range. It's better if you expect him to jam 100% of overpairs pre bit still probably rather get in decent 9xxx than bare JJ here for example. c/fold sucks cause you don't want to spew equity when you check to him and he jams ace high or 2xxx and his stack is small as shit. c/c blows too since all the turns suck so I see how you are left with this. I think this situation say a little bit about 3betting this hand pre at this stack depth though ; you have to get in so many boards might want something that flops a little harder/nuttier oop.

I also check back the 8hQcJhAh. Spr a little too big to just gii here I think; i'd check back and just give up bad turns and go to town on the 10h etc.

The other guy must be thinking.. "After all that, I lost only $110."

Makes him feel like a winner.

I don't think the JJQ6 hand is close; when there's no A or K or extremely coordinated board we have to get it in with a SPR of 2. The equity we gain from him folding is just too great and he's never going to have a higher PP since he would've 4bet pre.

As for the AQJ8, hmm, I'm really not sure. I can see a case being made for either. I actually think the biggest mistake I made this session was the ATTJ call since he really wasn't all that bluffy, and when he did bluff he usually made it small sizings.

Actually went to calc the JJQ6 thing, and it's closer than I thought. We're 42.5% vs 90%!AA-KK9,7,T8,68,hh) (117/181k combos). Presuming the other ~60k fold (giving myself a bit of leeway for some missed combos) means we win $36 33% of the time by shoving and 42.5% of $182=$77.35->keep an average of $77.35 when we get it in 66% of the time. I kinda need to fix that to make it more legible but the end conclusion is that it's an easy ship.

AQJ8 hand is 39.5% vs a 70%!AAQQ-JJ,K!33-77,8!33-77,K2,K8,82,dd) range, which is 91/147k possible combos for his 70%!AA 3bet/no 5bet range. Since we get folds >33% of the time vs that as well as him occasionally 4betting AKQ-type hands it's also an easy ship.

Only hand I don't think I like is the A578, seems like it'd play better as a call/see turn, unless he stacks off incredibly light on the flop but doesn't barrel or something. Just seems nicer for our range + turn cards will change equities a lot.

But then again he does 3bet like K244ss D:

The other guy must be thinking.. "After all that, I lost only $110."

Makes him feel like a winner.

You're forgetting the rake which ate the remaining whatever $ (depending on what his starting stack was, seems like it might have been 160?)

Hm.. Off-suite socks..Last edit: 23/08/2015 12:36

I know it's a ship on flop it's just not a lovely spot, u usually have to get it in bad. You are double suited so sure 3bet i'd just rather that 6 be a little more connected or above the Q.

Hm, well, I don't think he barrels that much on later streets. What I kind of expected was him to stack off pretty much any Ax that hit something so I'm not sure which turns are good for me and which aren't (any high card can make him a better 2p, any low card can give him a straight), it felt like the safe play was to just get it in on the turn when we're always going to have good equity at least. Basically, I don't think our turn decisions are clear and he cbets too much which leads me to believe felting on flop is probably the best move.

Yeah, I think he bought in for $162.

Tbh it's probably just my 6max mindset where I raise these flops so rarely and people have stronger ranges... I actually overdo it a bit I think.

Hm.. Off-suite socks..
