I don't understand the turn check back? K looks like a good card to bluff, he's not folding his combo draws, Axhh, a ten. So many hands call a turn bet that you beat? Unless I'm missing something?

its bc I wont take 3 streets of value vs him on this board anyway, eventually I could but not vs someone with high turn x/r like him
so if Im taking 2 streets, I prefer to maintain his shitty hands that would fold turn, and maybe he bluffs them on the river, esp because now theres 2 "goodcards" for him to bluff

im under some weird effects, ill finish my thoughts tomorrow

Makes sense. Thinking on a level above me. Guess I can't see his stats though.

You have to bet that turn

he will hav ea bunch of shitty hands on the river that are not good enough to call, like Tx, 8x, and I think my line shows that my hand sucks hard since my check most of the time is to either slowplay or to control the pot, as i have 2 blockers to 2 straights I might go for a thin value on the river
I think hes most likely to lead with the Qx or Kx, since those are not good cards for me to bet river and he doesnt want to x/r so he would overrep his hands

so I believe he will pay me sometimes with the shitty 8x and Tx, and sometimes he will try to turn it into a bluff, as I have the 2 blockers thats why I bet, to induce bluffs from the shitty hands he cannot call, so I snap called lightning speed, but in the end it was just a trap from pokerstars

sorry for the way im writing

you cant say that I HAVE to bet that turn
I have my reasons and I think my reasons are pretty solid
you cannot say without knowing the reasons

your reasoning makes sense to me and with that thinking process i would have played river the same way.
but its kinda close because through the check back and that ugly river card he will sometimes show up with air but sometimes show up with real showdown hands now vs our hand. (more often he will have air but havent done any calculation how much air he is allowed to have to make this call BE and its too late for me now :D)

I think my hero call is really good, I expect him to start his x/r range with the straights since he doesnt block any pairs
as I block the 2 only straights I think its really good, thats one of the reasons why I did value bet thin the river: to bluffcatch his x/r bluffs with the best blocker card

btw I dont think he has pure air when he x/r the river, he prob leading with his air, and checking with slowplays and marginal showdown value
