I took a good 15-20 seconds deciding on whether to bet the river, but I figured since he was betting fairly big on the flop and turn, I'd let him fire the river.. good river check? Or should I bet it.

I get what you're saying, it's just I'm basically never bluff raising somebody at 1c/2c. I also opted to call the turn here, because if he has an Ace he will most likely barrel the river, but if I raise the turn, that screams strength, even to these players. He'd would most likely fold everything other then AK/AQ to a turn raise. I realize what you're saying works against players at higher stakes, but Im not sure I'll ever get a call here raising the turn. Unless I'm missing something here?

Sorry Trav, too drunk man. Will respond to your queries in the morning.

Essentially though, ESPECIALLY at these stakes - fuckers don't fold anything. I'll elaborate later.

A lot of the time they call down 3 barrels, yes that's true. But just from personal experience over the last couple of weeks, I have noticed they do fold to raises.

It doesn't matter what you are repping whatsoever. Most times any ace will call a raise at any place (22 may even call, stranger things have happened)

Disclaimer Im bad but

Remember the times you get both a turn raise and the subsequent giant river bet don't have to be particularly frequent to be higher EV than the increased number of times you get a river bet (either yours or his).

The overall tendency at the limit the so called "population reads" on a random is that of a loose passive player, and majority of people fall into that category. their mistake as compared to ideal poker is that they don't bet enough and call too much.

I take you can deduct what the best adjustment and the way to play this hand is now right if you believe the above

93% Sure!
