Well he's either trapping or he has nothing so you can bet like half pot instead. If he wanted to steal the pot then he would have done it on the flop so you're not going to induce a lot of bluffs by checking, so betting is good. |

this board is reasonably drawy if he calls hands like suited connectors etc and you need to protect your hand.
If he doesn't and defends light his range becomes a lot pp heavy and you need to value bet anyways.
if the paired habnd would be lower and he defends lifgh and is aggro you can check and call twice if you expect him to try to get you off Ahigh etc a lot |
