Tilted hard. So i logged in my battle net account and i see that i didnt cancel my wow subscription so there go 50eu for the past months for not noticing this shit, whatever i dealt with that. I stopped playing due to laptop overheating ( or so I thought ) + game got boring anyway. Soo here comes the problem - I bought a laptop cooler. After i saw that my WoW is paid, cancelled my subscription but decided i would try to play and see if it was the overheating thats the problem. After 20mins Laptop just turned itself off. Its super cold not even the slightest sign of overheating. Only happens when i play WoW ( or at least i think so ), tried playing sc2 on highest possible preferences - no problem at all even @ 4on4 - not even a 0.1s freeze or sign of lag, didnt turned itself off. So what the hell is the problem

If you want to ever know if your comp is having heating issues, dl speedfan and run it. It's a light program that tells ur cpu temps and fan speed http://download.cnet.com/SpeedFan/3000-2094_4-10067444.html or dl everest http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Everest-Home-Edition.shtml (old link but still works).

As for ur actual problem, no clue.

You can try benchmarks, try a cpu benchmark and a gpu benchmark, see if one of them makes you crash

I've never heard of this problem, but since you only get it when you play WoW, and you were trying to quite WoW anyway...

in laptops the battery is usually the first to break down
try removing the battery, use the laptop plugged into power outlet (without battery inside it, that will usually work)
if that fixes the problem then maybe ordering a new battery is an option

This holliday a mate of mine took his laptop with him to some pool resort, and used the internet in the cafe, so it got sick hot, and it fried something in it, after that, it would overheat sick fast, but we just took stuff out from the freezer and layed on top of the keys and it'd last a lot longer before it shut itself off.
