Maybe I might have turned into you if I didn't crash 6k one day playing 5/10 on a 9k roll that I built up from 50 bucks in couple months. I too somewhat lacked in realizing the value of money bc I kept thinking I'll just make it back playing 1/2 or something. Plus, I was being delusional thinking I can beat the higher games... probably mixture of ego and life-stress I was going through at the time.
Well.. at least I never got into drugs I suppose haha.
I sort of take it as a cheap lesson that I paid so I don't do stupider shit on a bigger scale in the future.
I do hope one day I'll reach those stakes assuming online poker becomes legal again and I keep my discipline in check.
We learn from our mistakes, gl on your future endeavors.
(Maybe I should try some MTTs in the future lol~) |
