I saw a video not too long ago whereby Ivey loses 2nd in chips at the FT of some WPT or EPT event. He gets it allin with AA or something, as a huge favorite. Potential 2 million dollars lay before his eyes. Then what did he do? He did nothing. He didnt run around the table hooting and hollering saying "one time! one time!". He didnt stand up and watch the cards get dealt. He didnt go to the rail to hold his buddies. He just sat there and let poker do its thing. He loses to a 2 outer. And his very next move, after being horribly sucked out on, was to simply shake hands, get up, collect his things, and leave. Either it didnt bother him, or he didnt let it bother him.

I want to be like Ivey. Just got back from another unbeatable table of fish. 3 BI's gone. Standard 90/10 coinflipping. I can only get it in ahead so many times. If this happened online shit would be breaking. Probably be out another monitor. Thank god it was live and the 20 minute drive home gave me time to cool off. I'm still on the verge of snapping. One wrong move and I'll lose it. Anyway, I am flat out done with playing in fishy games, just too much variance. At least fishy ring games where donkeys can threaten my entire stack. Gonna investigate the CAP scene, or maybe the 50BB tables, just anything where some fish cant quintouple up and then stack me for 100BB's randomly clicking buttons.

seems to me you have very fundamental wrong thoughts about this game, because this sentence is so flawed.

Last night my wife is playing NL2 and decides it's time to look some fish up on PTR, only to see he's a 5/10 reg with @ 200k+ profit. Yet he was down $30 at NL2 over 20k hands. No flipping, no prop, just another thinking player who cant beat micros.

Well these games are play money. Minimum opponent vpip is probably 60. 80 vpip is pretty standard. Go log into play money, put in 10k hands, see if you come out ahead. Yeah we all wish people played like it was play money, im sure thats where all the 5/10+ regs make their profits, just constant allins and value betting people calling down bottom pair 3 streets. So fuckin sick of people acting like seeing 6 handed flops is a good thing.

this is hilarious frustration / whining :D

play 80 vpip and convince others at your table to do the same and you become unbeatable!!!!!!

well you are married, which shows a lack of intelligence right there but this is plain retarded.

The difference between you and mr Ivey is that he knows the rules of this game, and you dont. He knows that AA loses like 40% over a large sample (not 100 about this). You need to look back at yourself before questioning other players about their play because it seems that they are just playing like 'fish', you said it yourself, its variance, live with it or find a job where the variance does not affect your paycheck.

Saibot the offer for the challenge is still on

Just play a limit and a game of your choice online for 50k hands with 50BI within 2 months, moving down whenever you go under 30BI. The moment you play other limits or games or under rolled, you lose. I will bet $300 with 3:1 odds in your favour that you can't do it.

93% Sure!

NO ONE BEATS NL2. EVERYONE JUST SKIPS IT

And btw I find it hilarious to say that fishy games have huge variance. Out of 5 100bb+tourneys I played in a 70 man field I made 3FTs, while once losing AA v Q5o o J9xr All in, and second time where my bitch of a GF limp called with Aces where I explicitly told her to raise good hands.

How hard is it to raise just QQ+, AK pre, fold everything else, and just steal buttons with good value hands and limp pocket pairs?

93% Sure!

Wait...what?

In my database of ~ 40k hands (I know it's nothing but I lost my entire database last month) I have a won the pot 88% of the time when I have picked up AA. So far I have not had my aces cracked even once when all in preflop (9 times recorded). Once again I know it's a very smal sample but AA will not lose anywhere near 40% of the time like you stated.
