holy shit i didnt realise it was that srs till i read the news this morning about state of emergency and shit. lucky for me im in the north island
this couldnt have come at a worse time because the government has to spend 1.7 billion paying off ppl that invested in a finance company that managed to get government guarantee like banks so investors in the failed company are getting their principals PLUS interest which is like wtfffffffffffffffffffffffffffff. this after they were getting really high interest cos the finance company could invest in really risky shit with the government guarantee.
all the while the government is telling teachers and some medical staff who are going to strike that oh cmon theres just not enough money to pay you guys properly. and this was already happening before the government suddenly found 1.7 billion for the finance company payout
this country is so fucked so i guess my backup plan is to go be a pokerpro in some asian country when NZ finally completely sinks lol |

When it struck i was like fuck cause it disconnected me from a game of sc2. And then i was like fuck i hope the earthquake struck here, because if it struck somewhere else then they are even more fucked than us.
Whole house shook and i thought it was going to cave in on me :O.
