I have played a few sessions of live poker recently (1-2 NL) at the local casino, and I'm looking for ways to really crush it.

I am beating NL10 online so I understand basics of position and pf raising.

My strategy right now is to build a tough image with tight pf play. This includes folding SB and late position with weak holdings in limped pots, and betting 4/5 pot when I do see a flop. I do keep mental notes of players, but I do not trust my live reads to see if players are strong or weak.

I find my biggest leak is c-betting the missed flops. In the long run, is c-betting the flop with AK/AQ/air profitable at 1-2? If so, at what number of people at the flop does it start to be unprofitable?

Also, should I open-limp with low-mid pairs in early position? What about suited and semi-suited connectors?

This is most likely going to be very villain dependent. You have to remember that the cbet is a profitable move because the majority of the time, the villain is going to miss the flop. So, if the villain folded to all cbets when they missed, it should be a profitable move over time. However, of course, this is not always the case.

Really have to tailor your cbets to the player and their willingness to fold. Some are willing to fold 2nd pair to a cbet, some wont fold ace high to double barrels the majority of the time. If you are a tight player though, people will generally give your bets more respect.

I play 2/5 but I've played 1/2
Fell free to open limp all PP < 10 and suited connector , because basically everytime there will be 4 players minimum.
Don't cbet your missed flop if you don't have backdoor.
Obviously everything is player dependant like online ...
Live tell are really important too ...
Play abc poker and it should be fine.

i would start slow with the cbest but deff dont listen to waga and only cbet if u have a backdoor.. u need to be cbetting alot more than that if your playing a pretty tight PF game.. just start slow and watch for players willingness to fold to cbets and just pay attention to stack sizes, obv dont cbet and get stuck.. i 2 barrel ALOT when i play live, but thats normally read dependent, and everyones full of shit live.. but yea just start to watch whos a nit and whos not, then cbet accordingly

Its hard to make a easy buck legally, its impossible to make a easy buck morally.

lol milkman I hope you understand that :
When you play like a nit
the time you hit the flop + the time you missed but have a backdoor = a good % cbet for multiway ...

This month I only played live and played like 200+ hours (Yeah it's a lot but I play for a living and I enjoy it)
I'm quite confident with my live game

Feel free to Pm me if you have any question OP

Live poker is sick soft. I open everything from 22-AA. Cbet depends on table and board texture. No need to nit it up, all live players are idiots.

Live all depends on the players ur sitting with. Dont try to bluff old ppl, they wont fold. Playing abc poker is ok, but u should relly on ur poker skills and extract as much money as possible from every hand. Donk bets usually mean nothing bigger then top pair ok kicker, or a middle pocket pair that didnt hit the flop. I dont kno how many times i opened in late position got donk bet into, raised, and they folded. Make sure u raise a good amount tho. A lot of donks will check call, and lead the turn with a missed draw.
