Alright guys, it's time for an upgrade on the monitor. I am trying to figure out what the best 30 inch monitors to buy are.
From a quick glance, I've noticed both the Dell Ultrasharp 3007 and 3008 models have good reviews. What are some other monitors that I can look at, and how do these monitors compare? I'm mostly trying to get the maximum resolution in a 30 inch monitor, as well as a clear picture. Also, please be sure to include where I can find some for cheaper if you know. I know some of you guys out there know all the sweet deals =)

slickdeals.net is a great place to scope out deals for this kind of stuff. It is hit and miss, so you gotta check it somewhat often, but they post the greatest deals you can find
If you play games, I would not go above 23. Personally, I have a 21 and 15 dual monitors, and I hooked up a new 42" lcd tv with an hdmi cable to my vid card and it all runs great. Could not get a better setup.
Arent 30" monitors equatable to the price of 40+ inch TV's too? |

I definitely want a 30 inch monitor. Using a 28 inch now, but it has low resolution compared to the 30 inch monitors that I've scoped out. 19XX x 1200 compared to 25XX x 1600 or something. It's quite a big difference, which is why I'm upgrading. |

Also, does anybody know about the HP LP3065? I found it on newegg and it seems to have really great reviews as well. |

Just googled that and it looks really nice. Have you ever been able to compare it's functionability with any of the other monitors I mentioned? I really like the way it looks, will probably consider buying this too now, which makes my decision even harder, especially since I'm probably going to get 2x of whatever I pick lol. |
