tighten up. and call oop more with hands that dominate but are not good enough to 5 bet, etc.

or stop 3 betting oop

I would say, if you can handle high variance : 5bet more, if not for low variance, tighten up.
first would be better oop, and second in position.

sorry for shitty english.

tighten up imo and call in position with good hands that flop well and 5bet/shove hands like AK/TT

I dont know what a dt drop is. Is it a wrestling move? -OlyLast edit: 18/08/2010 04:57

There is an alternative to tightening up that I like, and that is to just alter your 3bet range (but keep the same %) to one that can shove 100% over his 4bets. So something like 99+,AQ+ with the occasional small pair and Axs; just make sure that you are shoving 100% - it's great fun.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

you can 3bet pocket pairs with the intention of 5bet shove as semi bluff, since there's a good chance that he will fold his 4bet to your 5bet shove
and when he calls, there are less combo's of pairs than broadways/highcards ( 6 each pp, and 16 each broadway), so you would flipping most of the time when he calls, and you would be 40/60 vs his calling range most of the time, which is good since he is probably folding a lot

but you shouldn't go too crazy, use this kind of strategy just when you feel you must

Dont listen to anything I sayLast edit: 18/08/2010 13:06
