No manual option, yeah I'd rather drive stick. Paddleshifters are still kinda fun though.

It's actually not a boring drive, well since you rally probably going to be boring for you. It really throws you in your seat. It's actually more scarier being in the passenger seat.

but its is boring to drive, it only manages to corner fast because the computer turns the outside wheel at faster speed, the car is so electronically controlled that it will literally wont let you drift, it doesnt matter if you wave it from side to side and pull the e-brake, the computer will understeer it back into place as shown on Best Motoring... what a piece of shit.

But it doesnt matter if it makes great lap times, its faster than a porsche 911 but it will never ever be as fun to drive.


And no paddles are not fun they fucking suck, pseudo secuential gearboxes are fucking dull ive driven many and they are garbage, a racing secuantial gearbox is fun but its a totally different thing

All I'm saying is, you probably driven much cooler cars I have. I only driven my slightly modified 2.0L WRX, and compared to that the GTR is a big wow to me. I'm guessing you are no fan of the new evo right? Do they even rally them?

Ah such a shame about the GT-R. It was one of my most desired cars before i learned more about driving. It looks badass, has a design inspired by anime and supercar level performance on paper for a price tag much lower than supercars. what could possibly be not to like? But the joy of driving it just isn't comparable to a true "driver's car". As Baal says the computer does most of the driving for you and removes most of the 'driver skill' aspect and with it the true joy of driving. A true "driver's car" won't have such complex intrusive computer stability and traction control nonsensery that babysits the crappy driver and is forgiving and corrective of their noob errors. A true driver's car will punish bad technique and make the driver feel a great sense of reward for employing good technique alike. It will oversteer if you make it and it will feel truly agile and alive as it will weigh a huge amount less than the fatass heavyweight GT-R

But ofcourse there are many different reasons ppl have for buying cars than how fun they might be to drive.

Most high end luxury cars/super cars are paddle shifter/automatic hybrids now. The LFA has paddle shifters, as well as the Ferrari enzo.

Depend on most ppl though. Baal i'm assuming from where you live you have cars with auto gears right ? My brother just "owned" a 210 HP (i think i'm not sure) polo but did a lot of tries on Le Mans with many cars including bikes (because he worked for a while there). Anyway he got tired of manual gear cars especially when you know here in europe we drive manual gear since our 16 of age.
You're probably right about it not being fun to "drift" but when it comes about gear it's just a matter of preference really.
If i remember correctly you're driving a rally car, so i believe you have a modified f1-like gear is like driving a semi auto car ? Seems like you're a bit too much into the high end professional rally cars or whatever you can name it which is probably like less than 0.1% of ppl that like driving like you.
Still i wouldn't want to buy it, R33 Skyline ftw ~
