Fleh, my mindset is still fragile and thus a disgusting runbad is not what I need right now.
But of course, that's what I'm getting.

I figured a 18% of bankroll stop loss was a solid idea so I'm done for the day.
Down 6bi & 8bi in EV since my break ended, lols.
Worse runs have been documented in the past. I know.
Hmm I made some spews today, biggest one was in a spot where I planned to x/r semi-bluff the turn if I improved. I did improve, but when I was facing the turn bet his bet sizing was a clear tell that he is never folding. I still semi-bluffed and got it in really bad 160bb deep. Need to trust my head more..
God damn it I really, really don't want to be someone who folds under pressure.
Lastly.. ship the awesome purple EV line.

Poker is a job.
McDonalds is a job.
McDonalds pays you more than your job if you average out $/hours.
What do they both have in common? You can quit. |

Wishing you better luck and discipline and girls and everything really... |

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated. | |

And be glad, winning over long term periods just creates artificial expectations and lets poker consume you :o |

Royalsu, you are right but I'm going to take a slightly different and more encouraging perspective. Night, I look the liberty to look at your PTR and I made a rough calculation of your hourly at just NL100 and NL200 6max which are your two main games. Assuming you 4 table and log 300 hands per hour, your lifetime hourly at NL100 and NL200 6max only according to PTR is almost $20 an hour. If you are not paying taxes, that works out to the equivalent of close to $30 at a "regular" taxable job in the US. That isn't going to make your rich but it is certainly a whole lot better than McDonalds and considering the flexibility and freedom that poker offers, even a consistent marginal win rate at NL100 is generally a pretty good deal for most people.
The results from a significant sample size clearly show that you can beat NL100 6max for at least 1.5bb/100 and that should be enough for a $20+ hourly, even with the small number of tables that you play. I'd take some solace in that fact and I would stay away from taking shots or dabbing in HU, PLO or other games where you don't have much experience. You just need to get a solid financial base to work with so you don't have the stress and pressure of busto on your mind during each hand and then you can get back to playing your A game. |

night just be a bankroll nit and you'll be fine. you are always flirting with ur bankroll thats why most of your sessions are emotional and not a mental affair.
i suggest you just play lower so that playing well can be a top priority instead of not going bust or hitting that huge heater at a higher stake. |
