So I made a new account on FTP and requested rakeback from rakebackpros. I wanna deposit 600$ and make use of the 100% sign up bonus and just play from there.

Problem is I have made an FTP acc in the past (without rb) but i dunno the details anymore and it's been quite some time since i played on that account. If FTP finds out will the shut down the old one or will the freeze my money? How big is the chance they find out or should I just mail FTP to close the old account?

Thanks in advance!

I created a new FTP account, same name, different address (different country) and they have never found out.

if you haven't played real money using the old account, i'm sure you'll be fine.

If you tell them, they'll close your new one. If they find out they'll close your new one. Either way you still get the money.

I had 2 accounts for a while under the same name, after a while they randomly closed my one account and transferred the monies into the original account. Now i have an account under my womans name and I get rakeback, so WHO WON FULL TILT?? I DID

DON'T tell them, they'll close the new one. best bet is to open one in a family member's name

Thats stupid... because if u play micro stakes cash game or small stakes sng n mtts they dont care and they wont check ur account but when u play 1/2+ cash game or high stakes mtts and u score a big money in mtts like 10+, then the security will recheck ur account because like u said u created a new ftp account same name but different address( diffrent country) so different I.P. address for sure and you will on trouble with them. Why didnt u create ur new account under ur mom's , dad's or gf's name etc..?

question, can you put rakeback onto an existing account? I'd prefer to keep my current account, but add rakeback to it.. or is that not possible

as far as i know u cant do that (maybe if your ultra high stakes and they give u some special treatment). if i'm wrong about this please tell me, because i had a ftp acc too some time ago (without rb) abd because i once won 2$ on a freeroll tournament i have the same problem here

I just set up an account over at the liquidpoker rakeback, and it seems to have worked.. Will get back to you guys on whether or not it will actually give me rakeback.

i'm not leaving. but i wanna try out the rushpoker thing and might as well clear the 600$ bonus while i'm at it. if it works out i'll be able to grind out some 1/2 as well.

There are at least three well-known affiliates that will let you add rakeback to an existing account provided that you didn't originally sign up through any other affiliate. I did exactly what gororok did (create new account, clear bonus) and maybe four or five months after I signed up they closed my new account. I wrote an email to complain and was able to add rakeback to my old account.

Wow. Good to know people sign up successfully using family // friends' name. I created an account with FT back in the day so I was under the impression of no rakeback for life.
