Just be vary aware of position, don't mess around in early position with random garbage hands
Omaha is more of a postflop game, and people never fold to 3 bets esp when they will be in position
Basically, you're looking to play hands that will be able to flop good equity - medium-high rundowns, 3 connected cards w/ pocket pair
You want them to flop strong hands that have the potential to improve to even better hands
The best hands are the ones that offer more combos (double suited hands are good for getting redraws)
The best AI spots for you equitywise are when you have set over set, or when you have the same nut hand as the other person but are freerolling them with redraws
Some good hands to 3bet in position are double/single suited aces, rainbow aces but w/ 2 other broadways, double suited kings
you could probably expand that range as you get more familiar with the game
I don't recommend 3betting from oop until you learn to properly value hands (3betting isn't crucial to beating micros anyway)
For the most part just focus on looking for flops where you have massive equity and putting in lots of money |
