its nl100-nl400, mostly nl100 and nl200.. the big drops u think are tilt are getting coolered for big stacks at nl200. ofc there is always some amount of tilt over 120k hands though |

i feel like 0-10,000 hands there were plans being set in motion
at 10,000 a plane hit one of the twin towers
then it collapsed and we found a wonderful world underground filled with tunnels and fascinating hairy creatures
at 60k we came up for air then went back down again, even deeper than before.. probably started a family with one of the creatures.
then we realised it was a problem to get little to no sunlight and have mutated hairy ape kids and slowly but steadily came back to the surface to chill and shit
cba illustrating it but thats just my interpretation |

120k breakeven stretch is shitty but nothing really out of the ordinary. I have a 240k breakeven stretch this year and still running 3PTBB/100. What really matters is whether or not you are playing well. I know it's hard to stay objective when things are going shitty, but it's something that's important to do. If you know you are playing well and are just getting coolered/unlucky, then just grit your teeth and keep grinding. If you are not sure or know you are playing badly, you need to really sit down and analyze your game. Maybe get coaching.
I think most people really underestimate how big effect variance can have on short to medium term results. That 240k stretch was about 65k hands of a MAJOR doomswitch mode followed by about 175k hands of recovery running pretty normal. Variance like this is one of the reasons why it is important for people who depend on poker as their primary source of income to put in a lot of hands to get past the run bad stretch. Even if you look at the graph of a monster like nanonoko, you can clearly see some EXTREMELY long breakeven stretches.
Finally, a breakeven stretch of 240k hands is still a decent wad of cash in rakeback, which should hold you over in the shit periods.
These things will happen, so just make sure to be prepared. Play within your roll, establish savings during your normal/good run, put in your hands, and keep analyzing your play to make sure that you are still playing your top game. If you take these steps, downswings still feel shit, but at the end of the day, they aren't too big a deal. Persevere and own. |

cool. It's good that you can laugh at this. Fuck constant whiners. Either play 100% or quit poker. |
