WTF
I was playing too much poker last 12 days, my job was very busy and I also got a cold on monday -> When I came back from work I had 0 self control and playing in that condition would be an equivalent to burning money using a high yield flamethrower.
Tilt Report
Since I started 4 tabling 16k hands ago I have burned 8BI including these.
When I say burn I mean it - all those stacks I made a good decisions in my mind but my hands did the exact opposite, only for me to stare at the screen and ask myself wtf just happened.
This equals some 400 PTBB during 16k hands which is a rate of 2.5PTBB/100
Please note that this does NOT include losses caused by my second leak - acting based on small sample or one single read that I do consciously
Plan
I ain't moving up before this doesn't go down to 2BI per 10k hands at maximum for the first leak.
Hell, I will actually move down to NL25 and grind the spewed BIs from yesterday before playing NL50 again.
The second leak will not be much of a problem as the higher the stakes get the more I will play with the same villains. Still its annoying and it is my rolling goal.
Learning
On the positive side, I have re-signed to Deuces Cracked, and to my pleasant surprise there is second season of Real life NL grinder, the bestest poker series for lowstakes player ever.
There is also Road to Robusto series where Tubasteve grinds from NL10 like I did a couple weeks ago.
You can see that his thinking process is nowhere near the level of the high stakes coaches (Where I want to see every video like 5 times I stare with open mouth like 2-3x per hour), but still its a good series in terms of fast moving through stakes.
Thanks for reading

u sir have serious problems
one thing that helped me greatly dealing with tilt =
As soon as i do one big tilt mistake where i cklick all-in while my mind says fold -> i insta close the session and shut down all tables ( no matter what happens on other tables)
really helped me |
|
U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz) | |

And the thing about burnout hypertilts is that you don't even have the brain energy to realise you should quit -.- |

Well I beg to differ Richi
Its no secret that combining a busy career and poker is really hard, and I do this BS because I am burnt out bfrom 45Hrs of work and 30 hours of grinding on top of that.
I have finally managed to get rid of my multitabling habit, and when I will go back to my studies I have no doubt quitting poker for Flipping burges part time would be -EV
Btw guys I don't know if Tilt is the right term for this, it has got nothing to do with running bad or playing bad because of bad beats.

lol your tilts are so ridiculous. It also looks like you're trying to pass your tilt on to others with your all-in calls.
anyways...
DO NOT PLAY POKER IF YOU'RE TIRED FROM WORK, STRESSED OUT, SLEEPY ETC. Wait for free afternoons, weekends, whatever. If you don't have atleast a 3 hrs gap of time without sleep depriving yourself or getting other important things done (work/school/chores/etc) then hold off playing poker imo. |

I was a steady 5bb/100 winning reg at NL50 with 70k+ hands before I started working, and the limit is really easy in my eyes actually.
The funny thing is that these hypertilts have nothing to do with the stakes I play and during the worst days I am capable of spewing 20BI per night at NL10.

This is so true.
Although I still have my goal to become a NL200 reg in 10 months to go pro comfortably next September (and my Skill has increased a ton since I cut on hands and watch a shit ton of vids every week - and you need to practice the theory somewhere).
But not playing when I know I am gonna suck is something I am working on with my 'Hypertilt Busting' project, its good to hear you point that out (Btw I almost never get tilted because of bad beats when I am not tired or hungover) |
