So I tried to return to NL25 Today and it went good. I was even above EV, which is surreal really.
The changes
As you can see above, I abandoned my attempts to play LAG at NL25.
It was just too much variance and people are much bigger stations than I ever acknowledged.
I will cut back on Cbets a little bit, and prefer to have at least some gutshot when attempting them, or a very obvious board. I will not double barrel without at least 8 outs.
I cut tables to 6, raise 4BB+XBB again and apply brutal table-selecting methods (45tables in 3 hours total today-one fish minimum).
From now on, I am also completely Ignoring Results and judge a hand only by my line and EV prior to shoves.
You will not see me posting results unless I want to brag.
Life and Stuff
I am moving in with my girlfriend on Friday for the first time. We got ourselves a nice £430 per month flat.
Fairly big Bedroom, open plan Kitchen/lounge and a friendly private landlord, meaning no fees or extensive paper work.
Looking forward to it really, my life was such a mess when I was living alone past 3 years.
I still don't have the intern ship so my main goal after I move will be finding a job.
I also hope to achieve Supernova before I get it, as poker is much more pleasant when you have a decent rakeback and you have those sexy red stars at NL25.

LOL supernova at NL25. I used to think these guys were high stakes pros just goofing around with the micro scrubs. Impressive feat lol. It's just funny every which way you look at it since there are NL600 players trying to achieve supernova. I wonder if your stars have any sort of reverse level, like inducing unwanted action b/c fish want to outplay you 
Dont give up your lag style yet! You seemed to be getting quite comfortable with it and doing well. Everyone says its high variance, I think you can play lag at NL25 so long as you pay very close attention to villain stats and give them precise definitions so you know what you can and cant do vs them. Besides, you're gonna need it when you finally make it past NL50 so you dont spend a couple of months re-re-re-adapting to goons who have made it further. |

Guys it was the special UK Promotion that made him get 80.000VPP in a month, not the grinding on NL25 lol. |
