Carbon poker isnt compatible with hand posting on LP so:

SallySpectra raised PF, i called, strategiclee called.
What do you do on that flop?
- i folded because i have zero fold equity against SallySpectra imo? so i'm probably behind when he calls my shove.
So: probably behind + 0 fold equity = fold that flop
Am i right?

i would be inclined to agree, although would be tempted to shove without much thought

biggest problem here is that you're as good as totally owned if one of the 2 has a higher flushdraw, and you get it in 3way.

u dont want to get it in HU either vs the IR, youre behind and theres not enough dead money

so fold.

would be closer if you had T9s or A9s imo

yeah i've made this mistake before. this is definitely a fold because you're either JUST getting good enough odds or you're fucked. as an optimist station we might call here, but then when someone shows us a set or a better flush draw we recognize our optimism was a mistake

I think you're misstaken about not having fold equity here, cold 3betting the flop is going to look super strong. Also sallyspectra doesnt necesserely need to have something to raise depending on what kind of player the guy leading out is. Getting it in there are very very few hands that you're doing poorly against, if you get it in vs 1 person you're only significantly behind to sets and straights and if you get it in 3way there are lots of hand combos where you're still doing pretty well.

Equity Win Tie Loss Hand
Player 1: 27,562 % 27,474 % 0,253 % 72,273 % 9s8s
Player 2: 19,345 % 18,814 % 1,139 % 80,046 % QQ+, 99, AKs, As5s, As4s, As3s, KQs, AKo, KQo
Player 3: 53,093 % 52,569 % 1,126 % 46,304 % 99, As4s, As3s, KQs, JTs, JTo

Equity Win Tie Loss Hand
Player 1: 22,747 % 22,567 % 0,540 % 76,893 % 9s8s
Player 2: 38,685 % 35,890 % 5,769 % 58,340 % KK-QQ, KQs, KQo
Player 3: 38,568 % 35,773 % 5,769 % 58,457 % 99, As4s, As3s, KQs, JTs

These are pretty tight ranges and you're close to breaking even. if sallyspectra is never raise/folding here then his range cant be so strong that getting it in here is a misstake and if he only is getting it in with a superstrong range when you come over the top then you have lots of fold equity.

lol easy fold imo
shoving here is terrible. the reason you play combo draws like this so fast is because you're supposed to have a good amount of fold equity to go along with the hand, which he has none here.

youre almost never happy to shove and be called here, and this guy isnt folding.

Its time to stop thinking like a bitch and think smart like a poker player - ket
