Or not? I play a good number of hands, 3 table, and I still make next to nothing in rakeback. Anyone care to share some numbers?

The main problem is that u can only play 2-3 tables HU ...

6max u normally play 6-10 tables
Fr 8-12 tables +

just check your HEM or PT3 stats and u can easily calculate how much rakeback u make

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)Last edit: 08/04/2009 19:54

nah i definitly dont think HU is a good way at all to get rakeback. I used to play heads up 8-10 hours a day on tilt. Played in up to 500 dollar heads up and the rakeback was nothing compared to even way smaller cash games. I would get more rakeback playing .25/.50 blinds cash games then i would on 200-500 dollar heads ups games

But I mean, since you have to play fewer tables it's offset a bit by the hands/hr at each table. I just haven't been able to make anything decent despite playing a good number of hands.

could be wrong but hu rake is smaller on average, although i cant say for certain what the exact structure is.

also, u realize that even with the increase in hand #/hr, like i dunno 60-90% of all hands don't even get raked simply when btn opens and bb folds, or when btn opens, bb 3bets, btn folds etc. etc. etc.

as a function of rake $/hr, it can never compare to multitabling 6m or fr.

the less tables you play, the more profit you should gain. More tables is obv more rakeback. how hard is it...

this is why raszi is trying to get SNE xD

in HU you mostly only get raked like 50c in the majority of hands, upto like $1-2.

So nope rakeback is bad for HU.

it's possible if you play HU SNGs, but for HU cash forget it
