Raiz's poems pretty good (a few blogs down from this blog), kinda made me want to chronicle some of my poetry online, so im gonna post a few here that i wrote in the past few months (haven't written one in a month or two), a good backup, and hopefully some people that enjoy poetry can read

Some of you might not understand these, if you do, then enjoy, keep your mind open, wrote most of these after experiencing serious love/pain/ups/downs/drugs/etc

laugh it up girls, i like poetry, write a little bit, and have some sick mc skills from time to time (not on the spot, just flows out of me sometimes when im with friends, usually when im drinking or high ), def comes from the heart (as all poetry does obv)

hrm, i posted a couple on raiz's page that related to his poem, i've seen a few other lpers post some poetry, and im not gonna be blogging often anymore ne ways about poker, since its all just an ego show (Oh i won this much today, wee!!! praise me!!! or, oh, i lost this much today! and have bashing go on, why blog about standard variance everyday, its just stupid. Literally, its just a retarded cycle that needs to be stopped, so I'm stopping blogging about most things poker related except when I move from one limit to the next, or other important things that others may need to know. Mainly, I'll just post the graphs from each limit and let the green line speak for itself)

so, ugh, i'll post 4 poems here, def not posting a few certain ones, since some are obviously for my eyes only

First off, a poem to lead to the souls enjoyment.

"Dancing with no seat belts"

Its a mission to go out, open your mind and have fun
walk through the doors, release your inhibitions and you've won
don't take too much, or try to hard
you might get kicked out, so kick back and jump around

chemicals change your reality, too much is never too good
Losing yourself on the dance floor is something only a few would

feeling free as a bird, open to see the world
seeing bob in the sky, protecting us or spreading his word
finish the night with a drum and a beer
wake up the next morning wondering what the fuck went on here

Heres a poem I wrote, mixed with poker, in search of right and wrong, Jesus, drugs, and finding inner peace.

"The Path"

Life all is but just a game
One that will drive you insane
Beyond the edge you may go
This is one place only a few know

Upon arrival you may be lost
sharper than imagined
in search of the cross

aspiring one day to be again at peace
Eyes opened to a new world unleashed

If you find the rabbit and free your mind
Learning and truth will begin to unwind
The hole implodes, Your soul is true
The journeys begins, to each a new

Heres a poem I wrote relating to a bad acid trip I had that lasted over a year, distorted my views of reality, put me in a dark place for a long time, until I understood wtf was happening obv.

"Inner Demon"

Centuries before, never seemed to Exist
Awoken in Pain, blood Filled with piss

Beginning to wonder, is this a Dream
Losing sense of morality, ethics, Self-esteem

Shadows Emerge, from each corner and hall
Finding inner light, the biggest challenge of all

A racing mind of Dark morbid thoughts
Distorting your views of who you are Not

The world seems duller now, with Eyes full of pain
Theres but one question left, will I ever Change?

hrm, one more, a good one for everyone on this forum imo.

"Destination"

To get here one must travel far
through fires and storms til you stand true
you can hear all the darkness too
ones failed in the path suffering from broken hearts

Reaching out to see the gate took forever
but forever is never in our infinite time
its time to finally sit back and drink some wine
this is a bond that can not be broken or severed

Feeling of achievement and glory now fill your eyes
Chest full of love, no more pain, no more cries
You knew it'd be worth it, Is it what you had dreamed?
Such a hard path to fullfill, so many cried, kicked and screamed..

As you can see, I'm not a professional poet, almost every poem I write, I try to use a different style and not get caught up in the same rhythm and having poems all sound the same, I've written less than a dozen poems in my life, so call them all shit, i don't care, i believe these are poems that relate well to many poker players, and many other ppl that walk a similar path in life.

Alright LP, this should be my last blog until I get to Vegas.

I'm going to be mostly a live player now, I've made way more live in a fraction of the hours in my life than online ne ways. I'm still going to spend 1-30 hrs a week playing online, but cuttin down from 20-100 hrs a week is going to be very nice and healthy for me :-)

Wish everyone the best of luck, hope atleast a few ppl that appreciates poetry reads this blog b4 it gets bumped, I'm goin to sleep, almost 11am, wtf am I doing still up

GL LP,
Ryan
