Sometimes old people just amaze me with how weird and awkward they can be. Today when I was taking the bus to class, some old lady with a big tote bag got on 2 stops from my apartment, and when she sat down she like dropped a shitload of books and magazines out of it all over the floor. A few of us helped her pick it all up and then she just sat down without saying a word. Then, all of the sudden like 5 minutes later, she starts saying, "That's why I lost my sunglasses yesterday...because I had them on my face but when I took them off I put them in my bag and lost them" like she is trying to have a conversation with everyone and hoping someone will talk back. Then like a minute later after no response she goes on to say, "You know there are only 3 things that are important - time, money, and space - and there's never enough of any of them" and after no one answers again she's like, "Sometimes there's a little money, but it just evaporates." The whole time I'm just sitting there wondering wtf is this person talking about. Still no one answers, and then she finally just shuts the hell up.
I really don't understand what is going through these old people's heads sometimes, but it can be funny to listen to.

joe, ima respond to one of your old posts about that chick.
Dude, she dug you. You hung out a ton and you never sealed the deal. So, she got mad and let you have it by bringing that other guy around. After the guy dissapeared and she showed interest again you dropped the ball, AGAIN. So after that she completely wrote you off as BF material and found someone who had the balls enough to kiss her  . It's the way life goes, live an learn. Don't be friends with her; make her know that she doesn't mean very much to you and when she breaks up with that guy you might have another shot. Anyways it's dumb to think that, you need to move on with your life. |
