So im off to Amsterdam for a long weekend with my girlfriend. Any advice on a good casino to check out? as central as posible would be nice as im on crutches atm

. Im thinking of just watching some poker and maybe having a go with whatever euros i have left at the end

The only casino worth mentioning in Amsterdam is the Holland Casino, situated at the Leidseplein (Leidsesquare or however you would call it in English).

You have to play poker to be able to watch any of it though unless you want to stand way back. They don't allow non-players in the playing area. Minimum for NL in that casino I think is 5/5NL. Don't think they have lower.

ye only real casino we got here is Holland Casino, any other 'casino' is a gambling hall with slot machines.

This is true - €5/€5 is lowest NL - sometimes have limit games an tournies/sng's most nights - need ID to get in. SNG's names/cards go in to a hat and then are pulled out - first out get seats....always oversubscribed.
