In 09 I have alot of new goals, much different then any of my old goals.. My birthday is Jan 18th and i will be turning 22. I feel like im getting alot older and its time to grow up a bit. My poker career has been a blast, I have no regrets about still playing poker, the year in review was awesome, but ill get more into that later.
First off a few people id like to thank for making last year so great. MezmerizePLZ, Doomer, Alex, living in CO with u guys was so much fun, wouldnt have traded that time for anything.. The guys in the vegas house, bigbobm, clay again, eric, yomer, simon, doomer again, and a few people from outside the house that i hung out with quite a bit, actiondj, tjbentham, tom, twisted echo, jonny cosmo, rainkhan, sean nolan.. god the list just goes on, anyway everyone that i chilled with in vegas, thanks for putting up with my blacked out rampages and all that good stuff.. special thanks to Peachy and Mez for staking me in the WSOP, lots of people save/grind years to be able to play the events that i got to play my first year being 21, i owe you both alot.
Like i said earlier, i feel like im growing up a bit, im starting to feel the need to save up money, normally im fine with just spending as much extra money as i have, ive realized now that i dont really want to continue doing that.
Before poker i designed computer software for a small company and did 3d modeling, since then the 3d modeling has almost fully gone out the window, but i have decided to star work on a new program. The program i recently designed is a game for the iphone, i dont really want to say anything about it, because good ideas in this field r worth way 2 much, but i hope to see it in the App Store within the next 6 months, and when we are nearing completion i will give out free beta versions to everyone on here so they can try it out on their iphones.
My goals for poker over the next year are pretty simple, im hoping to make 50K+. I spent all of December grinding cash games, and plan to spend all of Jan playing full time cash and full time tournys, there is for sure room for both, i have lots of monitor space and im not rolled to play large tournys so i normally only have 3 tournys running at once, id like to keep playing cash to help out my BR when tournys arent going well. I plan on getting in at least 1K hands a day cash and then playing as many tournys as my day allows.
My life goals arent that hard to accomplish either, #1 above ALL, i want to move back to vegas, long term almost full time living there, hopefully 8+ months out of the year. I would like to buy a Porsche, will probably get a Boxster just because its in my price range. And last, but still very important, no more hard alcohol. I havent drank any mixed drinks or shots for 2 or 3 months now, and i REALLY need to keep that up, hard drinks dont do well with me, beer is awesome and i can get as drunk as needed with beer, its just the fact that if i do get drunk on beer im normally sooo full and soo tired by then i want to go to sleep, no more crazy ass chris running around blacked out all night making an ass outa himself.. i cant do that anymore, i really dont wanna wake up in jail.
LP related goals, id like to keep my blog more up to date, but also not boring.. im going to buy another video camera ( i think this is the 3rd one ) i always lose the fuckin things lol.. i want to update every week but i have a feeling things might get stale and no one will be interested in reading anymore.. but if i have a video camera i can hopefully get some interesting things or set some strange/fully goals to video tape and throw up here (thinking like the top gear of poker).. Ive also been talking with Naz and Meat about HOTW, i think ill be helping out with that, one way or another id like to have it back so ive offered my services.. and just hopefully not getting tilted @ the LP newcomers and not disappearing like 80% of our old regs did.
Now, since i have no pics, or amazing storys about last night ( i went to the casino and was at a 1/2nl table when the clock struck 12, but at least i was with a hot girl)
Anyway, id like to review over the last year, and maybe a little beyond. This is the reason i blog, i love to look back and see some of the funny/embarrassing/interesting shit ive done.

June 07. WSOP vegas
Well i guess ill start off with an embarrassing one, first time in vegas for the wsop, stayed with clay and alex for a week in the Rio, WestmenloAA kept having me do double shots of SoCo with him and b4 i knew it i was blasted.. we were playing beer pong, teams were me and MangoD vs Myth and Twisted Echo. We placed a bet that the losing team had to get in bikinis and jump in the pool.. me and mango had 1 cup left on our side, myth and echo had 5.. i lost by bouncing the ball into my own cup.

48Hrs, completely fictional story i wrote and posted.. didnt think at first that anyone would believe it, but ppl did, eventually word got out that it was fake. i really liked writing it, and also liked reading over it again.. would make a good movie or short film or something now that i re read it..

Mez and Doomers trip to oregon, first time we all hung out together and realized how fun it was living with degens.. really kinda sparked the first interest in living together and having a poker house.

well when u only have 1 cup left it is lol.. its just if u bounce a ball into your own cup the cup gets pulled.. or if you knock over your own cup its pulled..
