Did snow manage to get "inside" (through the keyboard) and melt there? If so, you're probably in pretty bad shape. I spilt a drink on mine some years ago, not too much got through but enough to make him go crazy (beeping sounds when I turned it on and power-on did not complete IIRC).
Eventually had to bring it to the repair guys (was still guaranteed), they had to send it to the constructor and change one of the parts there.
Your problem doesn't seem quite as bad, but if it doesn't get better in a few days, I'm guessing you'll have to get it repaired by pros. If/when you do so, you should backup anything important on your hard drive (they had reformat or change mine). Also, don't send your cables & battery unless they specifically ask you to, otherwise it has a tendency to disappear.
