took yesterday off, had a nice +20 bi day saturday though after my breakeven day on friday

going to win $15 and move up to nl10 sometime today, i won't have too much time to play i suspect though, with the bills playing MNF and my roomate getting back from vegas today

i do expect a lot of hours at nl10 this week and have set some goals to reach by the end of the week

ok gonna go eat and hopefully get some grinding in before getting tired, been up all night watchin movies and relaxing

GL,
Ryan

Keep it up. Would like to follow this example some day.
Thing is I played 200 / 400 nl and pl omaha for almost a year. Then cashed out had some vacations etc etc.

Cant seem to start from 200$ again and build my way up since the money doesnt really matter to me (probably because the figures seem less important than at the old stakes). Tried to build up a few times now but sort of bust everytime cause I want to build my roll quickly and thus move up stakes way too fast + playing underrolled. Cant seem to focus long enough on the lower stakes and just grind my way up.

Any advice =)? Or just shut up and grind?

shut up and grind is the best thing i can tell you

after you get back into the grind of the game, you won't be worrying about moving up, but playing perfectly, realizing that you will be moving up weekly or bi-weekly since the micros/low stakes are so soft

in all honesty i could be beating nl25 with 20bi right now, but its not about rushing up the limits, we can all rush up the limits, but that instill bad ideals in you when you reach tougher games or have inevitable downswings.

working on bankroll management now and instilling a strong 50-100 bi limit and learning different disciplines are very important right now (atleast for me, im happy with my flop play, etc right now, but smaller things have been getting the better of me for a while now, i intend on fixing these LEAKS as soon as possible to become a complete player who makes a living off the other regs and fish on stars.

I hope you can find some good advice in this reply, i've been up a long time and am not thinking 100% clearly right now

Thanks for the reply. The 20 buyin rule is the one I used since I started playing poker. Maybe you're right and its time for a change. Working on smaller leaks with a comfortable bankroll before moving up doesnt sound too bad. I'll give it a try next week, planning on putting 200-300$ on ftp then. Maybe I should start a blog for motivation too
