I've started to really get into poker, i've played it on and off for a few years but now i'm really going to try get something out of it.
I'm not entirely sure of the best way to improve, i've watched videos on the flopturnriver site, got some poker programs like poker tracker and i've started reading some books on poker, about to start on Doyle's Super System.
I mainly play the $1 SNGs on FTP and i'm doing better and better at them. I prefer SNG to ring at these low levels because there are just too many maniacs plaguing the low ring games.
Not entirely sure of the point to the blog, is what i'm doing effective? Should i play a set amount of SNGs or stop when i hit a certain amount of winnings, or just keep playing til whenever?
Are there any other good poker sites that host videos that are hopefully for free?

Don't play like Doyle.
The problem with microstakes ring games on FTP is that they begin at NL10. If you have an appropriate bankroll to play there you'll rather enjoy those maniacs. |

Maniacs are the best, just be patient. I'd start at stars though, because the rake is lower on the cash games. |

Important things to remember about online poker:
-Bankroll management
-Table selection
-Prescription of Anti-Tilt pills from your doctor
-Only play when well rested
