I'm overwhelmed.. don't have nothing to say really. I have no idea about anything. I don't even know anymore if I'm running bad or not, coz this is lasting a while compared to anything so far.
I mean, if someone knew for a fact that this is just tougher games, I'd quit poker now and never play again coz frankly.... meh.. it doesn't matter. I'll move down tomorrow.

You're losing for 5.5k hands. That's rather standard I guess, you could just be running bad.
But if you're new then you also might be playing bad.. Could be a combination of both. |

that will lead u to finding leaks in your game.

The fact that I can't tell the difference depresses me the most.
When I get sucked out, I rarely get upset now.
When I tilt and make a marginal move for lots of money, I get pissed at myself.
When I can't tell what's going on, it makes me wanna quit.
I THINK it has more to do with running bad tho. |

i know the feeling sir, but how the hell are you supposed to be able to determine that? Only the best of the very best can objectively analyze themselves.
Take a break, watch some videos, find leaks, blame those few leaks for everything thats happened, start over.
At least thats what i do. |

Go through all the hands where you lose the biggest pots.
If you're not sure if they're coolers, post them and ask for help. Also you can use the odds function after posting them to quickly see if you were getting your money in ahead.

i'm in the same position you are in, just moved up to 25nl, and i just dropped 4 bi's...no big deal. played about 5,500 hands as well. just have faith in your game. i'll be up 8-10 bi's by this weekend. =P |

A decent downswing, ive had better I had a period which lasted around 30.000-50,000 hands, losing shit like AA vs AK, AK vs A3, AK vs AK, set vs set. It can last for a LONG time, you need to ride it through if you give up, you won't ever make it as a decent poker player. |

yeaaa same things happening to me right now, its hard to tell the difference between running bad and just playing bad =/
one week ur crushing, the next everything goes wrong, poker's so depressing sometimes. |
