Holy shit stop raining. I come back from that shit hole Europe, having actually learned to appreciate USA, and I get rained on all week. I hated Europe so much. It was my first time there since 1995. They fucking rape you with everything. Fifty cents to use the bathroom? Is a hand job from the bitch wearing the burka included?
I went to some crappy restaurant in Italy because the food prices looked reasonable. I ordered a coke without looking at the menu since I was really thirsy. Five euros! Half a liter for fucking 8 dollars. I buy a fucking 2 liter for 99 cents at costco. I can't imagine you people that actually live in Europe pay half your fucking paycheck in taxes then can't do anything without getting raped again.
Oh yeah and there were bees everywhere. I couldn't go anywhere without having those little fuckers flying in my face. I hate bees and made myself look like an ass more than once running away when they fucking swarmed me.

It's just business and tourism is a big source of income for many of these locations. Obviously they are going to charge the max that they can. Comparing the price of a restaurant drink to a wholesaler department store type of business is beyond retarded.

edit: also, I've been to NYC several times and yeah it's relatively expensive. However, hotel prices were reasonable, food was reasonable, and the subway was just damn cheap compared to what I saw in Europe.

No, but i was born in Belarus, where everyone indeed is a genius. However if you actually compare cost to salary, europe is laik cheeaap. Not to mention the quality. And free(and quality too!) medical assistance!

I spent a month in Europe this summer and it was really nice. Yeah it was expensive, but the exchange rate sucks right now. Next time you get a chance to take a trip I'll gladly go in your place.

let's be a little open minded to cultural differences. everyone has strengths and weaknesses , why harp on the weaknesses? I hate it when people come on NY and talk about how dirty the subway is, how crowded it is, blah blah. Sure there are shitty things about NY but there are a ton of great things too. If you came to NY to visit and have a good time, why not appreciate all the great things the city has to offer rather than bitch and whine about the dirty subway?
So you go to europe, which has so many beautiful places and so much to offer, and the best you can say about it is that a restaurant charges 5 bucks for a coke?
