Don't know you too well but roller coasters are very common when switching from tournaments to cash b/c you feel you have to shove at certain points, and your range of cars you play is a lot lot lot looser in tournies, for obv reasons. Try tightening up on hands you play. For grinding sessions try playing AK AQ 84o, obv,.... AJ KQ w/ position and MAYBE KJs on button if you're feeling lucky. Also any pocket pair obv. Raise with any of the previously listed hands, and AA-TT. flat w/ 99-22 unless some douche raises a ridiculous amount...
thats the guidelines i try to follow, so far it's worked out pretty good. I found myself losing more when i was playing stupid shit like suited connectors (that rarely gives you a draw on the flop). Ace w/ Kicker lower than J insta fold. K w/ kick lower than Q instafold...etc. ATs on button, see ya. it's hard. i hated folding all the damn time, but cash is wayyy different than tournament. Blinds don't go up, you don't have to put people in, you don't have to shove b/c your short stacked at the table, just rebuy to your 50 and keep trucking. NEVER short stack yourself. ever. obv. you have an edge, so take as much money as possbile from these tards.
You prolly already knew all that but incase you didnt, thought i would help. GL. |
