seems painful so far. i think i still have a lot of things to work on, the main leak i have is calling off my chips too often i think, *shrug*
nl25 has been like, up 100 one day, down 200 the next, up 250 the next day.. down 150 the next.. i havent had a string of good days, or a string of bad days.
is this winrate very low, or like below average, or above average, or what? i dont really know. >.<
i hope to hit $1000 and PlatinumStar before the end of April.. hopefully sooner than that. after that, i guess NL50 awaits.
i am still consciously trying to improve my game and i do feel the more practice i get the more stable my gameplay will get; part of being good at poker must be knowing to stop when you're down though, huh.

it just seems like the average day in poker for me, even when i play like 6 hours..
its like, big heater, fold fold fold fold, big cooler, fold fold fold, idiot donks all his chips off to me, fold fold, idiot sucks out on me, fold fold, i make a retarded call.., fold some more.. rinse and repeat :O

much of poker comes with experience. with that in mind, when you move up limits there are different aspects of the game that you will have to learn in order to steadily win and have a good bb/100 (win rate). So try different things and think each hand/decision through (be sure to analyze spots where you think you may have spewed off money), and you will continue to improve/profit

play less hours imho. bad decisions come when you're mentally exhausted. what i did before was play frequent short 1k hand or less sessions. quit when cards are bad continue when they are good, stop asap when you face resistance in spots successively then repeat session when youre feeling better. well that worked out well for me before, the moment i stopped doing it coz i got very good results and became to confident, came the downswing, so i plan to do that again as sson as i play again. good luck. |

Do you go into PT and study all of your hands over say 50bb after each session? I find this very very important. One major thing it made me notice was that I was dumping at least about 5bb/100 in bad plays where I knew better when I was at NL25 and NL50. This made me really happy as it showed me I could have a very high winrate there if I cut out these plays. Good luck... |

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated. | |
