The only good thing about being on penicillin is that I cant go out and get hammered so I stay home and beat on nerdy weekend fish. God, I could play poker professionally only on weekends. Its just sooo fishy everywhere. Gameselecting HU is best done by sitting down at a table and wait for 30 sec until some random french guy sits down and donates money.
SHIPSHIP, friday + saturday:
I think Im playing good but I definitely have some problems when playing more than 2 tables of HU against diffrent opponents.
Alot of my preflop play tend to get robotic and thats really bad when playing one guy who is 70/50 and one who is 35/30 and one at like 45/40 at the same time. I constantly have to remind myself to focus on hand selecting diffrently at the tables and its exausting. Hopefully this gets easier with more experience. I also feel I need to up my agression on later streets so I will be working on that.
April has gone from crash and burn to a decent month and Im really happy about this, also once again I have decided to not play 6-max anymore for all of april. I just suck at it these days and it bores me to death.

I have played some 3/6 HU with mixed results but I really dont want to play higher than that until school is over and I can focus more on poker. |

SakiSaki, I don't know how to break this to you. But you can get hammered with your friends when you are on Penicillin. There is only one Antibiotic that is not to be mixed with Alcohol, and Penicillin is not the one. The only Antibiotic that is in any way contrainduced with alcohol is Metronidazol (Flagyl).
This is a common misconception! And doctors in general wants to keep their patients in the dark of this, cause of course it isn't good to be out partying all night if you have a disease that requires medication with antibiotics, but the alcohol won't harm you in any way!
