hi lp micro stake small stake and medium stake community,

i am writing to ask for help with my non-showdown play. i played a 1200 hand session and at the end i broke even but was up $50 in showdowns but -$50 in non-showdowns.

i want to always improve so i thought i'd post my 5 biggest losing non-showdown hands and try to get some tips and tricks

Hand #1:
+ Show Spoiler +

If you try to not be results orientated is this a good fold usually?? dunno stats cant remember

Hand #2:
+ Show Spoiler +

In retrospect of this hand the guy was chatting alot so maybe he was on tilt. but i didnt realise at the time. standardly, this played ok?

Hand #3:
+ Show Spoiler +

Ok i dont mean to be posting standard shit like this. but yeah i lost money here so good or bad? T62 board i thought was pretty dry, idk

Hand #4:
+ Show Spoiler +

i checked turn because the flush draw hit and there were 3 ppl in the pot. im guessing this is fine, just to confirm, good?

Hand #5:
+ Show Spoiler +

this might of been bad, could have called or folded here. i was going to call but then i figured im flipping at best and i know he's a shortie but for whatever reason i folded. is this a 100% slam dunk always call?

any comments welcome, even from noobs :-) thanks

oh and stats for the session

#1 Good fold
#2 Read-dependant, vs random probably a fold I don't think ppl shove light at NL25, but if he's chatting non stop and tilty ez call
#3 2Barrel looks good, turn is a scare card and brings you 4 more outs, don't c/f
#4 is standard
#5 I wouldn't fold AK for 50bb, short/medium stacks are usually completely retarded

#1 Good fold
#2 1.5pf is a lot of bb's so I don't think you'll need to raise him that much. 4 would work just as well and kill his odds for sethunting as effectively. If he's tilting you can call his shove.
#3 I'd 2nd barrel a lot here too.
#4 is standard
#5 East call unless they guy is nitty beyond all reason (but then you should 3-bet him as a bluff with any2, more or less).

#1- it is a standard fold , but since he showed you his cards note it and use that information.
#2 - this is another fold, unless you have the read on him. If I noticed him doing this often then I would have called.
#3 - not much wrong with what you did, but you can definately bet again with the Q. I might raise more preflop but I doubt that would have helped.
#4 - nothing wrong.
#5 - it could go either way, some short stacks are really odd others are super nitty.

you should never c/f turn with that AK, bet/call allin looks better. you're almost getting priced in if you c/c even(not counting implied odds, that is) >_>

Don't know if you're going to ever see this post because it's an old entry but I think I'd consider calling the first one but only because I recognize the name BazZz_Edge and know he's a retard and have seen him do that kind of crap more often...
