edit: sorry, after re-reading this it sounds kinda harsh and condescending. i don't mean it that way at all, totally just trying to offer some friendly helpful advice.

from playing with you in cash games, i think you play way too fancy and try to win way more pots than you reasonably can.

in general, if you're at my table, you're marked as the person more likely than anyone else to be making moves...and that's usually a bad thing, particularly since i've seen you playing fullring a lot.

so, some advice:

1. tone it down a bit, try to work on making fewer moves and only doing so when you KNOW you're in a good spot. most of the edge you have in midstakes games comes from superior value betting, not from bluffing or bluffcatching.
2. more importantly, don't play any cash game if losing 10 buyins makes a difference to you. if you can't lose 4k playing 2/4 (i dunno if this was all at 2/4?), then don't play 2/4. 10 buyin downswings aren't that hard to get into, so you gotta leave yourself plenty of cushion.

and, anyway

don't give up so easily if you like poker. EVERYONE goes through this just like you are, and i mean EVERYONE. in fact, most people go through it several times over. that's just a sad fact of poker that makes it emotionally stressful to master, but it's nevertheless a fact that we have to just accept as poker players.

hang in there, shit happens and just go step by step, I also made the mistake of moving up my cash game limits because I just won a donkament, thats a terrible decision, put aside your donkament wins cuz cash has nothing to do with them.

Poker is indeed a rough game, king of the hill one day and beggar in the gutter another, but handling that is a skill you should develop slowly as you move up stakes, some people are naturally good at it some dont, dont move up to stakes you are unconfortable with if you dont have the emotional stability to handle this swings, there is no shame in remaining in a 200 for more time, remember you are still a young kid making a shitload of money, dont rush it if it takes a toll on your mental health.
