Basically i'm up 2400 in two nights of live 1/2. The play is horrendous and I chopped a tournament with a guy for ~500 profit. Live poker is so bad, I cannot even wait for Vegas 2/5.

How does one-tabling change variance, not to mention bigger but constant rake?

o.o ok if you say so
..but the reason we play 1000s of hands multi tabling is to reduce variance. obviously the fewer hands you play the greater the variance. and if you don't have a big bank roll the variance kills you eventually. that why we don't go play NL1000 with only 2 buy-ins.
setups like AAv KK or set over would be a source of variance. but apparently they never happen live.

Sounds to me that you have no idea what variance is.

"the fewer hands you play the greater variance" is not obvious. Its stupid. We dont reduce variance by playing thousands of hands, we beat through the variance to earlier see the long term results. There is definitely ALOT less variance in live poker because your opponents are in general much much worse than online players. + you pick up alot more reads and tells live which makes it easier to get away from setups etc. It takes alot longer to see the long term results live because you play less hands/h but that doesnt mean theres more variance.

what wackass site is this nigga?

nono, less hands = bigger variance is true >.<

theres SICK variance on live poker. Ive lost AK vs J7o all in PF and what not,

barely up at cash game there even tho I played pretty good for the most part.

lost like QQ vs 83s on 83x flop raising to like 30$ PF and much more >.<

I can't dream of being able to play 16 tables of live cash game for 4 hours everyday tho, would be great, cuz it would reduce variance.

bitte bitte bitte bitte bitte bitte
