This hand happened in a home game we played a few weeks ago. I never got a chance to blog about it, but now i have internet so its about time i put this up in a post.
This post was inspired by captzeebo's post about the biggest pot he ever won. We were playing 7 handed for most of the night in a 1/2 NL game with a 1 dollar ante and 600 buyin. The players were me, chris/genius28, steve/xtbcx on full tilt/youngguyy on stars (hes a 100/200+ limit player), clint/beatifulman, martine23, josh/reddog133, and lyric.
The game was playing very aggressively and a little maniacally, but everyone is playing very well. There is often a straddle and restraddle and sometimes a 3rd straddle forcing even more action than there already was. There had already been a few extremely impressive plays, i.e. josh called 300 all in on the turn with A high and it was good, genius called 2 streets with KQ high on an A high flop and it was good, etc.
We were drinking a bit and having a good time, and the song of the summer, the way i are came on:
we all go a little crazy and decide for this hand we are going to play with a 5 dollar ante instead of 1 dollar. Here is how the hand went down in picture form. the green numbers beside our names is how much money we started the hand with.
So basically even though i rule at poker i still got destroyed by the master.
