Ok so I finally made it up to Utica NY which is roughly 20 mins from Turningstone. I'm up here playing pro ba<x>seball in an independant league. Everything is taken care of and I get $500 a month to do something I love, not a bad deal.
Well the housing situation is beyond fucked, instead of host families we have these ghetto ass places, currently we have no shower and roughly 16 guys staying in a 6 bedroom place. We also have no mattress, they are supposed to be here by Tuesday. Food is not paid for like they claimed until games start. Oh and my wallet got stolen so I'm pretty much screwed for awhile.
I have been reduced to going to Panera Bread for free internet because we have none at the so called house. God pro ball is a dream come true LOL.
