Hi everyone, its ==PAV==, so far I’ve been able to play about 3,000 hands per day without a problem. Oh by the way, it’s my birthday, so happy 22nd birthday to me. Yay! Any who, I’m going to talk about some situations I was in from today’s poker session. My stats for today are listed below, as well as certain hands I found interesting and what I was thinking about while the hand played out.
Stats for May 20, 2007

Hands
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/196719 - In this hand, I bet the flop strong, he had about 40BB left, there was a flush possibility on the flop, but he was short stack. He did not check raise me on the flop or prelop so I didn’t think he had the AQ, so when I bet the turn I didn’t even think he had AQ, I put him on a flush draw or a Ax, most likely on Ax, so I was liking my AK a lot at this point, since I didn’t believe the Q improved his hand.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/196724 - Ok, this hand, to me personally it was beautifully played because sure, he can have a monster, like 22 or 66, but I put him on exactly what he had, a flush draw, not even a good flush draw at best. He was extremely aggressive and played almost every single pot aggressively, I wanted as much money as possible out of him on the turn, so they best thing I thought of was allow the aggressive player do what he does best, be aggressive, so he goes all in and the rest is history. He can’t have a QJ I though because he had a flush draw, so that didn’t scare me one bit.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/196729 - I really pissing this player off, he played way too many hands so I took advantage of him big time. I finally get a hand, and he tries to make a move preflop because I guess he had enough of me. It was an A flop, so in my head I went, SHIT! Oh well, what can I do, but to my surprise I won, what did he go all in with for 150BB preflop you ask?
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/196672 - Then I played the $200 Sunday tournament, and not only was that a horrible call preflop by the player, then he calls 18k more on the flop with his hand. I can only play so well, but I need hands to fold sometimes =).
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/196731 - When something smells like a bluff to me, it usually is. This guys range was so vast, it was a really easy call for me, he would bet river with A4 if he had it, so I gave him a chance to hang himself. I wasn’t going to repop b/c that’s just stupid, since he’s not going to call me with air, but any who, just thought you might want to see it.
All in all, this was a good week. I learned how to play not as tight, raising my vol. put in pot and been able to play close to 3,000 hands per day so I’m happy with that. I’m most likely going to stay at .5/1 for another week or so and evaluate my results to base when the appropriate time would be to move up to 1/2. I’m going to post something new for you guys every couple of days to keep you updated. Tell me what you think, since this blog thing is a little new to me and your input would be appreciated. =)
