so i first pwnd it up at 10 nl won 8 buyins then i lose 4 to badbeats then i win 2 again
lose 2 again to badbeats

its sickening but yeah.

well this may sound strange but i have some issues on avoiding badbeats.

but its unlogical . and don't flame
edit: it comes down to tight passive i know its bad but at 10 & 25 nl i get outdrawn to much so i could bether always just play it safe

i'm almost always putting money in ahead but i'm alot all in on flop or turn . but then turn or river kicks me in the balls.

so i have this little theory and this hand can show it
so i'm thinking of just always calling down when my hand pownez and the cards that kick me i'll fold to.

+ some comments on this no flames i am probably wrong but well you see it again i lose it all where i could have won alot .

How to avoid this terrible beat: Fold preflop, you are in horrible position with a next-to horrible hand, there's no reason to play it IMO.

Yeah, I know that it sucks losing that kind of hand but really, it seems like you play too many hands out of position, just from looking at this hand..

I'm not trying to say that it doesn't suck to get outdrawn all the time, I'm just saying I don't think you should play that hand out of position - and definitely not vs a raise.

FOLD PF
RAISE FLOP HARDER - around $4.2
CALL SHOVE ALL DAY EZ

Stop being results orientated, the ten came, bad beat.. it isnt ALWAYS going to come and NO it isnt worth just waiting to see another card because u make it slightly less -ev for his kings in that he can spike a king. You have a strong hand, get it in.

well like mentioned before this is an easy preflop fold or atleast if you think he is a weak player try to 3 bet here but i would advise you to not do it on these stakes and you should know it is never ever a mistake to put your money in as a favourite. poker is just a game of variance but ull see on the long run the money will come ur way. well and about your theory you just mentioned the pros but forgot about the cons. first thing is this board is very draw heavy so dont give your opponent the odds to draw to his hand. and even if he has no drawing hand there are sooo many cards in the deck that could scare a hand like QQ+ AJ KJ ... away from getting stacked here so just play this hand fast and strong

Don't limp preflop. Raise or fold always except when you're on the button and it's a family pot and you have a hand that plays good multiway (low PP.. suited connector.. suited gapper.. you name it).

After this guy raised it's probably best to fold. You don't call 4bb to win 100bb because he doesn't put his stack in all the time, and he has your hand dominated. What are you gonna do when the flop comes J32? Check/fold? So basically the only time when you're gonna play this hand postflop is when you hit 2 pair or better? -EV play right there.

As for your suggestion to play it slow on the flop to find a fold on a scarecard, it's retarded. When you flop 2 pair it's important that you play it very fast because it's vulnerable and you want your money in when you're ahead. Sure you'll lose sometimes (25% in this example), but when you play this hand the exact same way a 100 times (postflop that is) you'll win 75 of the times and lose it 25 times.

Just fold preflop, calling with a hand like this is a spew.

yeah, fold pf
and a call on the flop would be a very bad play on this board because it's very drawheavy.

raise more hands in position CO/button and tighten up mass OOP. no idea why ur calling a raise with J8 just pitch pitch pitch.
