yeah anybody who has been making 10-25k on AVERAGE for like more than 2 months prob wouldn't play as low as you are

any poker player should have a mathematical inclination which loudly tells them to not trust anyone pretending to be a poker player while claiming to 'average 10 to 25k' in tournament winnings per month. Some poker math is genuinely hard - a coach should certainly possess more than a rudimentary understanding - but even a rudimentary understanding enables you to add total tournament winnings and dividing this number by the amount of months played. Saying you average between 10k and 25k - even if this was actually true - to me sounds like saying the chance of rivering your 12-outer is between 27% and 60%. Even if you don't feel like doing the precise calculation, you should certainly come up with a better approximation than that.

the problem is there's a ton of twitch viewers that are basically completely new to poker and wouldn't know any better

naw i actually did make 10-25k a month for a while there but i held onto thinking i could still do that in mtts when the games have def gotten tougher and ive switched to csahgames, it should have said "at one point i averaged 10-25k a month on stars for a while"
