Yeah, I've read most of his popular books and watched maybe 80% of his lectures. He has some very interesting insights about a lot of topics. I find odd that a lot of intellectuals think poorly of him, of course, he develops ideas that sometimes are not even grounded on facts, but finds a way to articulate them in a way that at first sounds counterintuitive and then makes a lot of sense. I think he's very aware of that but just like to rethink a lot of stuff and reverse ideas that we take as truth.
You should watch the documentary Zizek! if you haven't yet, very interesting.

lol i only just discovered him.
yeah i can see why a lot of other intellectuals would think poorly of him. He is thinking about subjects where you can't make any absolute conclusions. I actually think he is wrong about a decent amount of stuff but also has a lot of creative insights into things. Mostly i find him really entertaining.

i was saying that the definitions of political terms are not a good thing to talk with, because their definitions have been re-written constantly throughout history. So, just to call someone a socialist is not very constructive because it has too much confusion.
