So I dropped 6k in a 10/20 shot in a really good game.. I was really depressed and whatnot, so I made a goal to only play 2/4 until I won 10k (made this goal last night). Here's the results after day 1..

I finish paperwork on it Monday. It's used, but still, it's a sick car. It's an 06 Nissan 350z, and I can't waiiiiiit to get it. I'm so sick of driving around in my POS 1995 Grand Prix. I get the car on like Tuesday or Wednesday hopefully.

One of my favorite right wing conservative christian republican friends told me that he reads Drudge every day cause it's a good news source. I never bothered to check it before that. Recently I started checking it on occassion to try and get a view from the other side, and man, is it EVER the other side. Often it's on the other side of reality, like what I found today:

So I'm like "WTF when did that happen?" and I go to gallup and see this:

And I check Real Clear Politics (slight republican leaning site) and see this:

And to finish it off I checked 538.com, a bipartisan site that has a very good interpretation of the polls and saw this for the national tracking polls:

I've seen a lot of little things on Drudge over the last few weeks that made me laugh cause it felt very biased, but this was the final straw to push me over the edge and determine that Drudge is full of shit and totally focused on SPINNING everything in favor of the right.

This is his BIGGEST headline and it doesn't even link to anything! It's not explained. He doesn't bother to mention the fact that Zogby has been polling to the right for the entire election cause they are putting an equal # of republicans and democrats in their sample sizes even though there's a lot more dems registered than repubs. Also, in polling it's all about AVERAGES, so looking at 1 outlier poll out of all that came out in 1 day is pretty stupid. If we want to play that game I can point to the 13 point lead that CBS gave Obama yesterday. But it's obviously an outlier and much bigger than reality, so I'm not going to run around blasting "13 POINT LEAD FOR OBAMA!" in all bold caps.

Lastly, if you look at the RCP and 538.com polls from today they have Zogby in there, and it has Obama as +7. So this means that Drudge found some sort of internal in the Zogby poll that probably had a huge republican lean and was very innacurate, and then chose to use that number as his front page lead. What a deceptive douche bag.

So Drudge has lost all credibility in my book, and people who tell me that they check him religiously and actually believe his spin are people who I won't take seriously. I can still like them as a person to hang out and BS with, but they're never gonna be able to convince me to listen to them about politics.

That means, yes Brian, I still <3 you =)

50NL

Searching for a coach-stake set up. I'd be happy to split upto 95/5 of profits (as I understand I may be viewed as high-risk) and I keep my rake from FTP, if I lose you get my rake in make up upto the stake amount. We can do this for as many as say, 50k hands? I need a pretty significant amount of coaching.. but I think it will work out for you and I.

I'll come right out and say I'm a losing player at NL50, but I'm very dedicated, and I'm sure I can accomodate whatever reasonable rules you might request.

I have ~15BI of my own for NL50, if you'd like to spectate me for an hour to help you decide if you want to risk your time & money with me that is cool with me.

I expect I can reliably play 30-45k hands a month.

I am obviously small time around here but I've never stolen so much as a bag of chips, and I don't have any real-life hardships that require money or any motivation for me to steal from anyone. I have a strong sense of honor and dignity. I would never allow myself to tilt or knowlingly spew another person's earnings off.

Drop me a PM or what not and I'd be happy to chat, on the phone or whatever you'd like.

I'd be excited to have this setup for 6-Max or HU.

my october was horrible, i destroyed NL10 and got destroyed by NL25.

after 7K was when i cashed out on stars and deposited on FTP...
i put 60 on stars and withdrew the rest of my BR on FTP. my brother told me he was having trouble with NL2 ( lol = ) so i decided to see if i can start with a miniscule amount and grind my way back up. last night i was 16 tabling NL2 FR (lost like 2 BIs) and this morning i was 12 tabling 6max (won 2 BIs) so we'll see how it goes.

I feel much more comfortable with poker now, since the changes I've made to my game, my results have sky rocketed.

Now that i realize the game can be beat, I'm going to set poker goals for my self for the month of November.

-30k hands at 10NL
-Achieve silver star (possibly gold star , near the end of Nov?)
-Bank roll of $500
-Possible shot at 25NL near the end of November.
-Buy another 21" LCD so i can 9 table without overlay

I am confident i can reach every goal.

October was the most swingy month this year by far. I started out nicely by winning almost 10k in the first week only to get the worst downswing ever as far as absolute amount goes - I lost 24k in the second week, setting myself to about -$14k after 2 weeks into the month. Luckily for me, it turned again and I had a couple huge winning days in the next week, including my biggest single winning day this year in cash games, when I won about $7.5k.

In the last week of the month, I went to Budapest for the EPT for which I qualified in the ps steps. I was sick colddecked there though, busted from the tourney in the end of Day 1 and proceeded to lose another $3-4k on live poker in the next 3 days. Pretty dissapointing considering how fishy the games were. Also, dealers and casino staff in Budapest are a fucking joke. At least I ran decently online in the few hours I managed to put in while in Budapest (had to grind out some VIP points for rakeback purposes).

Anyways, here is the screenshot of my online cash game results:

It is incomplete because I played some on my laptop, total for online cash is +$18,924 usd. With tournaments and live cash, where I lost a bit, I am up $18,246 usd for the month total (not counting rakeback). It is an ok result, could be better could be worse. I expected and hoped to make a bit more, but given the downswing in the middle of the month I am quite happy with it.

PS: those few 100/200 NL hands was a drunk shot, really felt like it one night, luckily it worked out good NL 50/100 was while sober, felt like it was a +ev game and I was shortstacking.

Got a new computer/ordered new monitor a week or so ago so I don't have 100% of my hands, but this is probably 75% of them.

That's in ptbb, and that rate is kept up for whole month (going by account balance its been a 10k++ month)

Should really move back to 2/4 and push on to 5/10, but this is very easy money atm..

I'll post setup when new monitor arrives (dell ran out of stock.. due in a few days now-_-).

Ok, so October was tough for me. I guess lots of things happened.

- I started the month with 6k.

The first beat came when I transfered my roll from Full Tilt Poker to iPoker through Neteller. I have my Neteller account in euro's (stupid yes I know, but I can't change it) and the conversion costs where 400$ .

- So my BR was 5.6k.

After two weeks I had to let go of my coach, because of a bad run the costs of coaching where becoming a bit too high and I really didn't want to move down. Still, all the coaching cost me approx 600$. I received 800$ rakeback from Full Tilt though, so I kind of managed.

- BR was 5.8k.

Eh I did mention I ran bad, and I really did. But I guess adjusting to iPoker (regulars are more nitty, the fish are more erratic), made me lose another 600$ due to bad calls / useless cbets / bluffs. I had gone through most hand histories and talked about it with my coach and I took a few days break to analyze where it went wrong and get the right mindset again. On iPoker, I get rakeback every week so I barely had a roll for NL200.

- BR was 3.8k.

So after my break I decided I wasn't going to move down, but cut down on tables, let go of my coach, analyze all the biggest losses after every session and steadily add tables because I tend to get bored playing 4 tables. I think now I adjusted to iPoker well, there were multiple situations where I easily folded QQ/AK pf and everytime a hand got to showdown it was KK/AA: most regulars are pretty robotic. So when I got alot of notes on everybody I started loosening up my game again (I played really nitty at first) and found so many spots for squuezes / floats-bluff turns etc. Well to make a long story short, I got out of the hole:

- Current BR 8.2k

I will also receive 800$ from the rakerace of www.ballerpoker.com next month. I will continue to grind NL200 and hopefully have a 'normal' winning month in November and reach 12k. When I hit 12k it'll be NL400 for me and if I drop down to 10k I'll move back.

Goals for November:

- Keep analyzing every session
- At least 30k hands
- Make even more notes on regulars
- Play solidly above everything
- Hit 12k, play NL400, own everyone and ship.

Well, haven't been blogging much lately, mostly because i dealt with a downswing at the start of the month until 2weeks ago. Cashed out then, switched site, reswitched to my favourite pokersite 2weeks ago and finally, i did run normal again

I'll blog more soon, today played 50nl session went really really well, as u can see in graph.

Also i'll post my stats, so u guys can give some tips, i play looser at 25nl, cause i rely more on postflop there.
50nl sample, played tighter, but surely can be better, advice is welcome.

Hey guys, its me again.
Well despite my last whine posts and me running bad, I decided to gather my minds, and play some more poker. And it ended up being kinda successfull the last days, i now have a semi-solid BR for NL10 on UB. I went from 22$ to 180$ in the last days, i definately played a lot though.

Question for you guys : Is it possible to do money transfers to other players on UB ? Because i am planning to build my BR there a bit more, and then possible exchange with someone from here for $ on PS.
