I can't beat nl25 atm. I'm playing fine, just keep getting fucked over. I get my bankroll up to $500 playing nl10, absolutely crushing it. then i cant have a single winning session at nl25.

Yes have a life for the people that will just read this one blog and assume I do not have a life/friends/ne thing else in the world lol. You can read some of the other blog posts that have pics of me/gf and where i talk about my prop bet.

Such a sick awful last like 2 days, finally ran decent and went up 2.4k in 2 days then next 2 days lose 3k by just winning every single pot and getting it in with the nuts and never holding, most frustrating thing ever and I wanted to quit playing so many times but couldnt do so. My game has suffered this month but I think next month it wont be to hard to get it back to my old lag self rather then playing like a nit. Going to sleep now to wake up at 8 am and finish this thing, not going to sleep until I do it.

At 563k total hands and have cleared 14.5k in fpp bonuses so far. Have 161,222 VPP for the month. My HEM is missing lk 6.8k hands but here is the graph, obv the last few 100k hands have sucked for me . Almost over though.

At least so far.

I had a nice session earlier today which I already mentioned, and followed that up by sitting down about an hour and a half ago and running into 2 coolers - but they were coolers for the OTHER guyz, muahhahahahhahahah! I hit a set with QQ on a KQR board vs a guy with AK, and then I hit four of a kind with TT on a TT6 board and the other guy had 66. So that was a great way to start the session. Of course I just wanted to run away asaply and save my monies, but I stayed and actually played very well for over an hour. Ran very break even after those 2 hands. Eventually left figuring I'd play AA as my last hand, had a nitty shortstacker shove on me PF with TT and he hit a T on the flop. Oh well. Can't win em all.

That puts me @ 1k or 5 BI for the day, which is really nice. Since I started the day down from a losing session last night, I'm at a 3 BI or $600 profit so far during this shot. Still got a ways to go before I can say I've succeeded in moving up, but I do feel really solid and comfortable at the tables. As long as I don't run like shit I think I will be able to keep grinding till my roll is solid for NL200.

The tables still haven't gotten as loose as I was expecting em to be. I figured the Friday after thanksgiving would be loaded. I'm gonna take another break and check back in a few hours and see if there's a bunch of drunks coming home to spew their monies away.

Well, I'm really enjoying myself up a limit. It's nice to be somewhere other than the very bottom. I feel like the play is almost exactly the same, my play certainly hasn't changed much except that I find myself calling down people who are spewing chips rather than reraising into them as well as folding to river shoves a bit more. Both of these things should probably hurt NonSD Winnings and help my SD winnings, but I've either been misplaying hands or been unlucky for two-three buyins worth of EV.

The only things that really changed were AF, which I think I might have too small a sample for (or it's actually gone down, I feel a bit more passive and I think it's helped), and fold to 3bet, which is good because I fear I was paying people off too much.

I feel like with a shift from unlucky to averagely lucky I can beat these games rather nicely, I just need to grind it out until then.

I started .02/.05 at ~10K, putting me up about half a buyin. The graph is really confusing to me because the red line is steeper than usual toward the end even though I've been more passive, I guess I've been getting enough in on the flop and turn and hitting something decent on the river and they've folded it.

Comments, criticisms, and replies in general are all read and considered, as a poker player just starting out I really like all of the input I can get.

Ending November early, all good seeing as how I hit my hand goal anyway. As far as cash games goes, it was yet another huge disappointment, but thank god for my previous 10k winnings in tournaments. Combined with rakeback, various other poker-related income, and donkaments, I'm probably up around 10 or 11k ish this month. Amazingly, one of the better months in recent memory for me, although still a big, big disappointment.

Given how shitty my life has been this fall once I started school again, I decided to start pampering myself a bit more. I'm eating expensive food once again (a habit I stopped around the Summer in an effort to conserve money), and I'm buying myself a bunch of presents here and there. For my copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue that I just bought (and will be getting GT5 when it comes out). I love racing games and play a lot of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 at the arcades if any of you are familiar with that, and I figure going from that to a playstation game that's supposed to be "realistic" (and holy shit it is) but playing it on a stock ps3 controller would just be a huge cop out.

Also bought Left 4 Dead the other day and have been playing that with a few poker homies, it's pretty good anti-tilt .

The best thing to report is that I am feeling more and more comfortable at NL200. I'm not nervous, not scared, and today I cleaned up some of the spots where I was playing with scared money yesterday (mostly in 3bet pots). By the end of today's session I felt as if I was playing a NL100 session. The game flow, bet sizes, amount of money, and opponents all felt very standard. The tables are also tighter up here so it's harder to find any loose ones, which forces me to play 5-8 tables since I can't find anymore good ones than that. This is a good thing cause when I see lots of fishy tables I start jumping on waitlists and then they all pop at the same time and I'm suddenly sitting on 16 tables, which is not good.

The bad is that I've run pretty horribly. Today was about a breakeven run where I didn't suck out at all but got 2 out'd once. My big losses today came from bad bluffs. But yesterday was just painful and it had me starting to think that everyone was a super lagtard. They were just running hot vs me which I think is something PS does to you when you move up a limit. Seriously, you move up and they give you cold cards and give people great hands so that they're 3betting / raising your cbets / checkraising the turn nonstop and you start thinking "THEY CAN'T ALL ALWAYS HAVE IT!" and spaz out and spew and then life tilt and commit suicide on webcam.

I'm about 3,000 hands in and up 1 BI! Woot. Today has gone well with a 3 BI session to start it off. Peaked at 4 BI's but lost a bit at the end. Still happy with the result since yesterday I ended at $3,600 due to some really shitty suckouts. Now I'm @ $4,200 and taking a break so I can be in top form for tonight.

I hope I have a heater tonight.

I put in a couple more hours after my update last night, and I put a few hours in this morning. I'm happy to report that on Day 3, my bankroll has grown from $500 to just over $1000. In my first blog, I stated that I would use a 20 buy-in rule; however, I think that I will wait to play NL50 until my bankroll reaches somewhere around 1200. When I do begin to play NL50, I'm going to concentrate on non-showdown winnings, which seems to be a huge leak in my game. I tried to work on it the last two days, but to be honest, most of the "fish" at NL25 just don't seem to have a fold button (maybe their pokerstars installation didn't install it??). For this reason, I just concentrated on value betting better hands. Over a 10k hands sample size at NL25, I ran at about 10bb/100, which I realize is kind of high long-term. I will say, though, that I table selected well and chose optimal times to play.

Recently i have been running insanely bad, ive dropped over 20 buyin's and i seriously have lost my confidence in my game. I find myself getting my money in but actually EXPECTING to be sucked out and almost every hand stars hasnt let me down.

I just want to play poker without feeling like shit, so ive cashed out leaving like 225$ or something, im gunna multi table like 15/13 on nl5 until like 400-500 then move back up to nl25 and see what happenz

i got like 22k fpps too though which sucks, need like 4k more and ill get a £250 amazon voucher and get a nice tv
