Hello. Much like most of you on here I come from the world of Starcraft and Warcraft 3. I used to play poker about 2 years ago, mostly limit, but I took a break right before the whole first US "ban" on online gambling and never really bothered to get back into it, until about a month ago. I've been putting around in a mix of Fixed Limit and No Limit but as of the past week or so I've committed to playing NL only.
Over the past 2 years I've been working at my cushy job making over 60k a year so I never really felt the need to play poker. But lately it seems like a good way to get some side money and to be quite honest I enjoy playing. Right now I'm a losing player, which sucks, but I'll continue to study and learn more. I'm playing 10NL currently and while I have the "IRL" bankroll to probably deposit enough to play NL100 I feel if I can't beat NL10, why the hell play something with better players?
Anyway, I feel like a complete gay for making a blog, but all of my friends make 60k+ a year and don't want to hear about my woes of losing $30 in NL10 when the night before I spent over a grand on bottle service at a club. So hopefully you guys will lend me an ear to bitch and moan in.

anyways last session i just lost 4.5BIs over about 800 hands and i looked at my losing hands and they were all with me showing down either high cards or single pairs on a coordinated board
Due to my recent massive downswing/awful play/tilt i am down to a mere $72 in my BR though it's really more like 119 with joedeertay owing me 22 + 25 in rakeback. This means nothing to me IRL but i still want achieve success in online poker. I am going to grind 1.25 45 person tourneys since they are extremely easy, non-stressful, and fun due to the great structure. I might also throw in 1.25 9 person turbos for the same reason and maybe some 2.25 9 persons when I get all my money.

Today went good only got fucked a little bit , got a 2nd and 3rd in 5 sngs for a $12.20 profit.
In my 2nd place, frustrated my opponent to get in with K9 against my 99 and flop has a K gg.
IN my 3rd place, the players were literally retarded, one player called all in with As3d on a J64hhh and beat a set of 4s. Unfortunately both toned down their aggression/retarded 3 handed and I went out in 3rd.
In one of others, one player had been shoving 50% of hands so i limped AQo and had the misfortune to run into KK.

First of all, the song is translated in the clip so even non-swedes can get the lyrics. Not that I really understand all of it anyway. My extended family has been singing this since on different occasions as long as I can remember. My dad used to sing this one for me and my sister when we were really young and couldn't sleep. Dan Andersson (dude who wrote it, some 100 years ago) wrote a lot of really good poems. It was also played (poorly) at my uncle's funeral which ads even more emotions to it. How does this limit play? I was looking for some tables a little bit ago and the tables looked really really nitty. Are they always like this, or is 1:00pm just a bad time to play?
November started pretty badly. First few days I was down about 8bi on NL100 and decided to move back down to NL50 until i hit 4k again. Well, I ended up cashing out 1k from my roll then leaving it at 2.3k and being forced to play NL50 for a while.
I had to take a few breaks from poker this throughout the month to get some stuff for school organized and that has been a bit unsettling for my game. I feel like such a donk playing after a break, like i no longer know good spots to cbet, 2barrel and 3barrel...grrr. So i've had a few big downswings after my breaks. The most recent, I lost 12bi in 3k hands and decided to do a tilt cashout! So far this month i cashed about 2.7k from my roll in total, leaving 300$ to grind for recreation whenever I decide to start back playing.
Recent events in my life suggested to me that i should definitely take a bit of a break.
