First off before I get into what up I just wanted to say that ultimate poker is a fucking joke and so is Phil Hellmuth. I mean seriously how the hell do they expect to get any buisness when 1. They have a shit record and scammed people out of money and 2. The biggest plug in Vegas Phil Hellmuth is there poster boy LOL! thank fuck I dont play there and if you do... come to stars.

Anyways Yesterday I didnt get to play much poker because I went snowboarding at Blue Mountain with 2 of my buddies. We planned on being outta the city by 8 since it was a 2 hour drive. This turned into leaving at 10:30 lol. The joints on the drive made it an alright hike lol.

We got to the Mountain around 1:00, got our tickets and hit the hills. My one buddy Kevin is still a pretty new snowboarder and was a bit nervous because the places he has snowboarded at dont even compare to how sick Blue is. After a couple of hard spills and faces full of snow he managed to get the hang of it again and did well all day. My other buddy Braedon snowboards so he did fine. Every once and a while we would have to stop half way down the hill cuz Kevin bailed or something lol.

On the way up my mom called us to tell us there is a huge snowstorm coming that way and that if it gets really shitty out maybe we should stay over. I found it hard to believe because it was sunny out when we were driving. We snowboarded all day and around 4:30 it started snowing... I dont mean just coming down nicely... it was a fucking blizzard. You honestly could not see the next chair lift in front of you thats how hard it was snowing. Going down the hills was a challange on its own because you couldnt see anything in front of you or where the hills got steaper. It stopped snowing really hard around 6ish. After this I honestly got in some of the best runs I have ever had. It must have snowed 20cm and all the runs were barely touch so it was sick. I had a good time with those guys and would definitly go again.

Today I woke up pretty early and decided to play some pokes even though things have been going so shitty for me over the last while. I opened up a few nice tables and started playing. It was a rocky start and I felt like it might be another shitty day but I managed to turn things around and make about 35BB on the first morning session.

I jsut finished playing a session and I saw the biggest fish alive playing in a .5/1 game so I decided to play in it. It was a good idea. I raped this guy and ended up another 35BB. Ship. It felt good winning again today lol. Hopefully I can keep it up and be able to move back up at the end of the month. I found it kind of interesting that a lot of the regs I see at .5/1 or that I used to play with at .25/.50 and moved up with are playing .25/.50 again. I talked to them and they said they are having super shit swings. They told me how big some of them were and they made my 200BB downer look like nothing. Maybe its just that time of the year lol.

Anywho Im gonna go get baked and try the New Prince of Persia game... hope it good.

clearing the 3k milestone and starting to win again. all in all i think ill be up about 5k total in milestone,rb and some winnings(coz im starting to win again consistently) this month to end the year. crazy crazy fucked up last two months of hardcore mindfucking variance coz of playing too many sne chasers and grinders meh, im happy with my overall performance this year and definitely got some big room for improvement next year. i might not chase SNE but definitely go as far as 800k vpp if possible to get the possible maximum amount of milestones for my bankroll coz im planning to get a new car before my next birthday in june

went as low as shortstacking 200 and 100nl coz of the fucked up run i was having which felt like forever lol

i guess this makes up for running bad at NL25 beginning of this month.

edit: wow wtf i played 9 hours today. i need to sleep now instead of at 7 am cause need to go with the girlfriend and paint her friends room or something. don't worry, it'll be a +EV afternoon

I've been running REALLY REALLY bad in life lately. this is just one of the things that makes me want to jump off a cliff...
i could have been having some sex with this (see below) when i was like 15-16 yrs old in high school, but i didn't b/c when we were getting to know each other, i was like "so what do you do for fun?" and she said "i like to take my shirt off and walk around the mall to see peoples reactions. I've gone to jail for this twice"...
wtf. so her weird fetish with getting naked and running around the mall was a turn off at the young age of 15...but here she is now...

this was over 5 hours mixed with a couple MTTs (MTT losses don't show). explains how i got only 1300 hands in 5 hours haha. mostly I was 2 tabling cash and 2 MTTs til later then I stopped thinking and opened 4 tables, then stopped thinking some more and played 6.

During the middle of it I became Silver Star, which is pretty cool I guess. Weekly $20k freerolls from now on, hopefully will take one of them down soon.

so when I play without thinking, I seem to run pretty good. I think I'll just keep my brain shut off from now on instead of dwelling on how I'm going to make moves on the next opponent.

So I'm finally reconfindent in NL25 now with this nice heater and thanks to all the fish, I'm back in the green for December on Stars

Time to take a break until like later tonight 11 pm or so.

Hy everybody, new entry for this shity blog. So since my exams are over, i dont have played this much, not the tons of hands i was expected.For several reasons, my gf, an important need of party and i'll have a new pretty cool house in front of the beach so i've got to prepare the all thing!!!
So only played nl25 a bit, lot of nl50hu and nl50 6max 9tabling. Not so brillant results for the moment, coz i took ~200 to the same donkey in one match. SO here are my results for cash=>

So thats for Party poker, on full tilt i dont played on it since the last update. Just lost 200$ totally drunk.
Plus i made 4th place on a 55$ tournament on everest, won 1K, wich means zero, first place was 3,5k busto on a standard flip.

so ive decided to start playing "seriously" for awhile. usually id pop $500 onto a site and play well above my roll and get crushed. this was fine, i was just playing for enjoyment and the money didnt matter too much. i've taken a few months off and realized that id like to see what i have and where i can go with this, whether it be making some decent side $$$ or losing

im starting at NL10. i have the cash to roll myself for NL100 without much issue(won $7k in vegas last weekend playing blackjack) but i want to prove to myself that i can beat the games at the lower limits, apply what i have learned, and then move up...it also helps now that stars has that responsible gaming feature that lets me limit the tables i am allowed to buy into

im just about through 20k hands of NL10 and its going decently well...i started out playing horrible but was on a huge heater and had some big ups and downs...id say that that around hand 13500-14000 i studied some hands and made adjustments and feel much better about my approach.

recap of my 1st year playing poker

Like many of you I was an ex-Starcraft player my akas were iG.Reaver / V_DrOp)Reaver / MgZ)Li / gNs.I-Light

I started playing on the stars playmoney tables in January and quickly reached 1 million playchips which I sold for $10. At the time I had no concept of bankroll management and was pretty clueless about the game. I started off playing nl5 with my $10 and almost went busto but thankfully I won a sng with my last few dollars which allowed me to continue. After my near busto experience I took my newly acquired $16 to nl2 and never looked back.

In January I went from nl2 to nl25 playing nearly 100k hands of FR and by the end of the month I was 18 tabling with no PT or hud because I didn't know what they were at the time. In early February I took a failed shot at nl50 and went back to nl25 but this time played 6max instead. I quickly rebuilt my roll and took another shot at nl50 with decent success. During this time I got PT + Hud and since I just started playing 6max I only played 6 tables. For some reason I slacked off during the months of February and March playing less than 20k hands each month.

April was I guess what you'd call a breakthrough month for me. I started the month at nl50 and ran really well throughout the month ending at nl200. After the heater in April a downswing was inevitable. I had a slightly losing month in May and breakeven month in June. During that time I had moved between nl100 and nl200 several times and was getting pretty frustrated.

In early July I had been winning at 6max and decided to give HU a try. I've never played HU before so I figured I would start at the lowest stakes. I played nl50 and nl100 HU for about a day before I got bored and decided to play 1/2. During July I played a ton of HU and did fairly well unless the last few days of the month. on July 28th I played a marathon session lasting over 25 hours and the end result was me losing around 20 buyins.

I took the next day or two off and got myself back on track and continued to play 1/2 HU in August. I was doing quite well throughout the month but again I crash and burned at the end of the month. One night I had trouble sleeping and woke up at around 5am and decided to play a session. Now I had been taking shots at 2/4 HU with no success but hey this was as good a time as any to play some 2/4 right? wrong. I played from 5am till about 1pm and dropped a total of 6k (4k at 2/4 and 2k at 1/2) due to massive tilt after running badly. Right after I got enough sense to quit the session I tilt cashed out almost 1/2 my roll leaving 10k to play 1/2 and excluded myself so I wouldn't play the next day.

The rebuilding went nicely in September and by the end I was playing some 2/4 HU again. October was a lazy month for me playing less than 20k hands and not winning much. November I tried playing more hands and mixed in some 6max also with HU playing only 2/4. Everything was going pretty well till I had a little downswing of about 25 or so buyins which slowed me down. I ended the month with only 33k hands and I was up but only a small amount. During November I also cashed out almost 9k for no apparent reason.

December again I started slow and played very few hands I'm guessing about 12k for the first half of the month but ran pretty well. I then decided I would start playing more hands but unfortunately the last week has been bad. During the last 4 days I lost quite a bit at 2/4 HU and 6max that puts me in the red for 2/4 HU lifetime (according to my PT but I only have hands from last few days of September-Now) and basically breakeven for the month. Today I tried again to play 2/4 HU but like the last few days due to what I'm guessing to be a combination of bad play induced by running bad and being card dead for the most part I lost 6 buyins in about 2k hands. I decided from now on I was going to play 6max and put in a ton of hands. I was fed up with having to wait so long for games only to get hit and run after a few hands which I'm sure has caused me to tilt and play badly against the next few opponents that sat. After a little break I sat down and 11 tabled 6max for a little over 3k hands and did fairly well.

Now for the future

Since it is now Winter break I have a few weeks off from school and I'm planning to put in a ton of hands everyday at 2/4 6max.
I have pretty high hopes for myself next year and I hope I can continue to put in a lot of hands like I did today and when I first started in January.

I'm also pretty sure I'm missing something since I've been losing at 2/4 HU and cashed out about 16-17k yet I still have over 20k on stars.

I need to stop playing on weekends. What's with these guys playing 99/66/inf. sitting at 10NL with $50 stacks?? Amazing, and they always win with stuff like 3Jo and 7Qs. It's driving me nuts. Speaking of nuts, someone post pic of nuts too please. Hmm... do nuts go well with beef?

So i played in Step 3 with the ticket i won in WCBOOP and i got a ticket for step 4. Now 82 dollars i didnt really care for, but 215 is a hefty sum of money. I'd definitely sell the Ts if it were the case, unfortunately it isnt. Ill have to play in one of these tourneys:

Today I was a real moron. I chased a fish up to a game that I shouldnt have been in and got fucking owned pretty good. I was running terrible in the game and got coolered 3 times. Soooooooooooooooooooooooo I tried making it back at my lvl and just continued to run bad. I think it might have gotten to doomswitch for the big withdrawl I just made for school.

My roll hasnt been as low as it is right now for a while... It feels weird. Ive been getting my ass kicked the last couple of days too so maybe its alright that I actually have to drop down. I played the .25/.50 for the first time in a while and its still just rediculously soft. I used to smoke this game for like 6BB/100 when I was grinding it so I know Im a winner at this level. I guess Im going to try and get my roll back up to about $500 by then end of the month and take off some more for school. So I guess you could say theres the goal for the month. This should be easily doable with the amount of time Ive got until I go back to school.

If the games are good at the .50/1 then Ill play in them but lately Ive been on a huge downswong at this game so its hard to play my A game when Im getting smoked by idiots. Right now I think my downer is getting to 200BB which is still standard for LHE but it still fucking sucks. I know Im a winner at this level but I think I should take a break from it until I get a nice comfy roll going for it again.

So for now Im going to be owning shit noobs at the .25/.50 6 max LHE. I dont think it will be easy to get to Goldstar at this level because you get so much less points here. I might get a bonus in the VIP store so I can clear the bonus quick and just get the money. Not sure about that just yet. Was planning on doing that when I went to school for that reason but maybe now would be an alright time for it. Dunno.

Right now I think I am on a pretty big tilt.... seriously Im so frustrated lol. Variance is fucking raping me sideways the last few days. I guess thats what I get for being a LHE player. Anyone wanna teach me NLHE 6 max?

This is my .5/1 6 max LHE graph. Im still up a fair bit in the game but lately its been not fun. Oh well. According to my stats I am still beating this game for 2.79BB/100 so with that being said variance has not been on my side lately.

Tomorrow Im going snowboarding with my buddy to Blue Mountain. It will be nice to not play poker all day. It will help me clear my head. Should be a pretty good time. We have got a fuck load of snow in the past 2 days so conditions should be great. Anyways Im going to smoke a dube and relax.
