Really Stressed. by CrownRoyal, June 23

So, I might have gotten too cocky with myself? I'm down 2300 this month after 25k hands.

I am in full on stress mode because wtf man, my br isnt big enough to be messing around with stuff like this especially after all my cashouts.

I've played two days in a row @ nl100 5k hands both days and im down 600 from them.

I dunno what to do I just need a few good days for confidence sake + for comforts sake plz let me win a flip lee jones.

Yo by StArCuE, June 23

Sup guys. Poker has been going good lately. And Wednesday I get to turn in my two weeks at Taco Bell because I'm going to drive to California with my Dad. I'll be there for a month and get to see my Grandma and chill in the hotel and play lots of poker and xbox. Which should be sick. Cali is cool too because there is an in and out burger there. That place is legit.
I just found out FTP has WU as a depositing method so I'll probably put like 1k on there before I leave with my Dad. Then when I get back from California school will be starting and I'll get to move out. Well I'ma play some poker before I pce out to bed. Later guys gl hf.

PLOdonkoff/need help ^^ by dahornnn, June 22

ok so i was playing some nl10 plo, focused 4 tables playing well running good etc then a couple hours in i get bored, then the amazing idea hit me, why dont i jus fuck around for fun? So, here i am 3 hours later after 3-4-5 betting pf and on the flop at almost every street, i have blew 2/3 of my roll. In a way im glad its happened now as its kind of motivation for me to become better at my game and ofcourse NOT TO PLAY TIRED AND THINK ITSA GOOD IDEA TO FUCK AROUND;O. Had funny PF moment where i was $80 deep on nl10 PLO (just after i started being an idiot..) i got away with a 5 bet bluff PF and then it all went down hill.
Also looking if anyone would be interesting in some form of coaching (NLHE OBV) 6max preferred and for payment a profit sharing deal over X hands would be fine on my side (you choose x, i can put in alot of volume) as i think its time i really started putting the hours into my game not just robotting.
Hit me up with a pm if anyones interested.

Day 22 by Stageus, June 22

Day 22: 22.6.09

Today I played one MTT and two sessions. MTT was 10$ buy-in on CakePoker and I was doing well but I was out in first positions in ITM when I lost in coinflip (A9 vs. 22). At the same time I played my first session and I was also doing well and was really satisfied with my game. I made good laydowns when I preflop folded QQ and one of opponent has AA and on turn I folded my JJ overpair and my opponent has set as was my read on him. Unfortunately I had bad spots in the end and had also two bad beats (AK vs KQ and then KQ vs QJ). This really pissed me off and I felt like I can’t win anymore. This is graph of this session:
http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/2684/todaysession.jpg
I know it’s not big deal but I hate loosing. This moth is not going how I imagine and I complained to my friend. He told me to play more and I will win again. I know he is right this is only temporary feeling and every good poker player know it. I will not give up and I definitely know that I can beat this limit so I have to continue try my best.
After couple of hours, in the evening I played second session. I decided to play not four tables as I was playing till now but six tables. I play TAG style and my style is a bit tighter (my stats are 17/13) so I think I can easy handle with it. I think I play solid but I’m still learning. I play poker a bit over one year but with online poker I started in June this year. Back to my second session NL50 sixmax on Betfair and my first sixtabeling. I was doing well and sixtabeling wasn’t problem so without bad beat in this short session I won almost two buy-ins. So total result for today was +$35.2 in 1390 hands. I had in this session one tough spot where I probably made good laydown but didn’t play that hand well so how I should play this hand it better: http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/708731 ??.
In the end I have one more question on you guys. I was thinking about what is optimal openraise from SB to BB? 3BB? 2,5BB? What’s your opinion???

Total result so far: 11230 hands, -$266.23

Selling WPT action + random updates by Joe, June 22

Hi all,

WPT Barcelona action

I am back from Vegas and soon on my way to WPT Barcelona. I would like to sell part of my action in the tournament. It is a €5,300 eur freezeout and I am looking to sell 35-40% of my action. 1% is for €60. At the moment there is about 25-30% left for sale. PM me or write into comments if you are interested in buying some piece of me.

Random June updates

- Played 7 WSOP events, cashed twice

- Made 1 deep run in a $1,500 wsop event 34 (i think), ended up 24th out of 2640 or something players after a Californian guy in the big blind called my 15bb push from high-jack and my 88 stood no chance against his monstrous A2o obviously.

- Met surprisingly few LiquidPokerians at the Rio eventhough I was there like every day from June 2 to 18. Where have you been everyone?

- Came back home and won the WSOP ME package the very next day, lol. Probably not coming back though, the flight is way too long.

- So far doing good overall in poker this month, already won more than what I lost last month, so quite happy with that and feeling confident obviously, which is good for the upcoming Barcelona trip. Of course it can still easily turn to a pretty bad month, but I hope it wont happen

Thats it, gl everyone at the WSOP and let me know if someone is coming to Barcelona too.

I'm probably to tired to really say anything worthwhile atm so here's some babble
This is this weeks Texas Straight Talk posted every Monday by Ron Paul and I'm posting it because this week's theme falls right into line of my recent thoughts:
Where did all those Bush foreign-policy hating BRING-THE-TROOPS-HOME people go??
The answer?! "Hey my guy won so I don't care"
So sick
WE NEED YOU COME BACK!!

International Bailout Brings Us Closer to Economic Collapse

audio

Last week Congress passed the war supplemental appropriations bill. In an affront to all those who thought they voted for a peace candidate, the current president will be sending another $106 billion we don’t have to continue the bloodshed in Afghanistan and Iraq, without a hint of a plan to bring our troops home.

Many of my colleagues who voted with me as I opposed every war supplemental request under the previous administration seem to have changed their tune. I maintain that a vote to fund the war is a vote in favor of the war. Congress exercises its constitutional prerogatives through the power of the purse, and as long as Congress continues to enable these dangerous interventions abroad, there is no end in sight, that is until we face total economic collapse.

From their spending habits, an economic collapse seems to be the goal of Congress and this administration. Washington spends with impunity domestically, bailing out and nationalizing everything they can get their hands on, and the foreign aid and IMF funding in this bill can rightly be called an international bailout!

As Americans struggle through the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, this emergency supplemental appropriations bill sends $660 million to Gaza, $555 million to Israel, $310 million to Egypt, $300 million to Jordan, and $420 million to Mexico. Some $889 million will be sent to the United Nations for so-called “peacekeeping” missions. Almost one billion dollars will be sent overseas to address the global financial crisis outside our borders. Nearly $8 billion will be spent to address a “potential pandemic flu” which could result in mandatory vaccinations for no discernable reason other than to enrich the Pharmaceutical companies that make the vaccine.

Perhaps most outrageous is the $108 billion loan guarantee to the International Monetary Fund. These new loan guarantees will allow that destructive organization to continue spending taxpayer money to prop up corrupt leaders and promote harmful economic policies overseas.

Not only does sending American taxpayer money to the IMF hurt citizens here, evidence shows that it even hurts those it pretends to help. Along with IMF loans comes IMF required policy changes, called Structural Adjustment Programs, which amount to forced Keynesianism. This is the very fantasy-infused economic model that has brought our own country to its knees, and IMF loans act as the Trojan Horse to inflict it on others. Perhaps most troubling is the fact that leaders in recipient nations tend to become more concerned with the wishes of international elites than the wishes and needs of their own people. Argentina and Kenya are just two examples of countries that followed IMF mandates right off a cliff. The IMF frequently recommends currency devaluation to poorer nations, which has wiped out the already impoverished over and over. There is also a long list of brutal dictators the IMF happily supported and propped up with loans that left their oppressed populace in staggering amounts of debt with no economic progress to show for it.

We are buying nothing but evil and global oppression by sending your taxdollars to the IMF. Not to mention there is no Constitutional authority to do so. Our continued presence in Iraq and Afghanistan does not make us safer at home, but in fact undermines our national security. I vehemently opposed this Supplemental Appropriations Bill and was dismayed to see it pass so easily.

Run sick good......again...... by T8Suited, June 22

Seriously I can't remember I ever run bad in poker. When I lose money it's usually because of bad play not bad luck

Another 6 BIs over like 800 hands today, thanks to a bunch of setups like these:

76s aggressor in reraised pot + Show Spoiler +

44 reraised pot lol + Show Spoiler +

Q5c BvB + Show Spoiler +

76h dude wasn't the best player, moments ago sitting with 200+BB, ccpf w/ AA and stacked off vs PF raiser's flopped set for 150BBs. Glad that I was able to take the rest of his monies+ Show Spoiler +

Cool(?) hands
QTd Scary line will probably get most people fold top pair (and if he doesn't I still have a bunch of outs)+ Show Spoiler +

98d Gay induce, successful call-down. Later I finished him off with a cooler QQ prevailing over AK PFAI+ Show Spoiler +

84d Sure I got a drop of value out of Ace high, but maybe I could've induced a bigger bluff by checking, or even a hero call with a normal-sized bet, who knows,......+ Show Spoiler +

QQ Real blemish against a loose passive, doesn't get out of line often, size of his bet correlates closely to hand strength.+ Show Spoiler +

Could have won more if I decided not to bluff some loose-passive 60bber off top pair (K9 board 9223 I only had overs)

The HU graph...
+ Show Spoiler +

That's the story.. I had a stake for the last month that didnt run well.. It's over now and I'm looking for another stake!

Stake conditions: I know the staker is the one to make them up ^^ but..

I play at least xx k hands / month - all rake goes to you - you get the stake back after a given amount of time!

Like: i get Stake$ - play 30k hands a month for x months - you get rake every week/ month depending on site +Stake$ back after x months

I would love to play NL50 on a stake.. But I guess that's a bit too high to start off with - so a NL25 stake is fine!

Contact me via PM if you got any questions and/or are interested or ask for my MSN!

Day 21 by Stageus, June 22

Day 21: 21.6.09

I played two sessions today and finished break even so no big success today again. Together I played 972 hands. Today I played 10k GTD MTT on CakePoker because I played it with my friend and we had deal. I won ticket on this tournament in satellite on Friday but we both finished in this tournament very early. My friend lost QQ vs AA PFAI and I finished in battle of blinds where may jacks on big blinds were beats by Q9s. Then I played one more MTT but won only my BI back. Late in the evening my drunk friend want to play NL20 HU with me so I agree to have some fun. My friend was lucky(maybe because he was drunk) and win three buy ins on me. It pissed me of a bit and I went sleep.

Total result so far: 9840 hands, -$301.43

+$2k day (so far) things, Turning things around by Joeingram1, June 22

Just finished up an 8k hand session with 4.5k hands at nl50 6max and 4k hands at nl200 6max/fullring. I booked a good 7 BI session at nl50 and was looking at the nl200 tables and decided to sit at 7 at fr and 6 max by myself to try to play some HU/shorthanded. Probably not the smartest idea to do with only having 4.5k online but figured I would try to use a 4 BI stop loss but luckily didn't need to. I always try not to 24 table when I play 6 max but I always end up doing it anyway because I tell myself all the tables are good lol. My winrate at nl50 6 max 24 tabling has been about 10ptbb/100 so i guess things are going well there.

Had a real nice balance of redline today, have been really working hard on trying to improve this lately and seems to be going well.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/84b780cd6cbdd472d687fc07491b6069.gif

Have increaded my online roll up to 6.5k now with enough fpps to get another 650 bonus. Just want to get back up to 10k online as soon as possible so I dont feel busto anymore, things are going well though. A friend from 2p2 is trying to get me to try this prop out to see how much action I could get, he says 50k hands nonstop at FullRing with a positive winrate, I suggested 50k hands in 1 day at 6 max lol. Am going to run some numbers and see how I feel about trying it. Still aiming to do a 1 million hand in a month prop bet sometime later in the year.

Thanks for reading
