Please help ... by dafcnz, May 06

Hi, this is going to sound weird but I need to make a MB to Paypal transfer with someone very reliable (who has instant payments, not risking a chargeback).

I have a Moneybookers which I use for poker and from which I've cashed out amounts of 500$+ with twice before. Now I MUST cash out to make rent (which I'm already late on) and MB is asking me to verify my bank information by making a small widthdrawal and verifying the transaction number. This process would take nearly 2 weeks and I must pay my landlord within these 2 weeks or I will be evicted....

Moneybookers has been ignoring my e-mails to support, therefore I have to take a risk and trust someone in a Paypal to MB transfer (as I know I can cash out from my Paypal).

The amount in question is 677$ CAD, roughly 655$ USD. I have only made a small transfer before with a LP member, which was voodoouser. I do think he would vouch for me but this is indeed a larger amount.

Will send first only to very reputable LP member.

You would save my life...

Edit: Just to be clear, I'm sending 677$ CAD MB for 677$ CAD Paypal.

MONKEY TILT FUUUUU!! by TheHuHu3, May 06

So yeah, lost half my roll in the last 18 hours. Proceeded to lose around 10-11 buyins at NL200 then decided to play again but this time at NL400!! Lost about 5 buyins there so now I am going to rebuild again :D. Fuck my fucking life.

I don't know why I have these monkey tilt sessions. I have them once in a blue moon where I lose half my roll each time. I still have roughly 30 buy-ins at NL200 left but I made a milestone in my poker career by breaking $10k mark + more last week or so and I go and do this stupid shit. I seriously hate myself right now.

Coaching Deal: 2hr for 110! by exalted, May 06

After reading myth's thread on coaching, it gave me the urge to start coaching again. I haven't done it in a while but my game has also continuously improved and I should have _a lot_ to offer any nl50/100 reg.

As reference, I taught my gf (annasky on this site) to play, and she now beats nl50 for a pretty nice clip.
http://www.pokertableratings.com/stars-player-search/annaskyii

One hour isn't really enough to look at another person's game, so I'm doing a 2hr/110 deal. I hope to learn a bit myself hence the discounted rate for now.

Honestly, if you're debating about getting coaching, you should just go ahead and do it. I thought I was the shit at poker 2 years ago when I was playing NL200 and "winning" - wake up call came after the games "died", so yeah, a pretty huge mistake to be misinformed at that time.

So yeah, PM for questions/booking!

FUCKED UP SHIT by k2o4, May 05

There's a secret draft going on in America that most of us are not aware of and it is extremely fucked up. And Obama is failing big time on this issue.

Any day now, Marc Hall -- a Fort Stewart soldier and Hip Hop artist -- will be whisked off to Iraq for a military Court Martial, out of reach of the public eye and his own civilian defense lawyers. His crime: writing an angry hip hop song about stop-loss.

President Obama has publicly pledged to phase out stop-loss, the practice of involuntarily extending soldiers' contracts. However, with two ongoing wars, the practice is still being used to fill the ranks, with 13,000 soldiers currently serving involuntary extensions of their contracts.

Changwon by offsuit, May 05

Hey everyone, I just moved to Korea to teach English in a city called Changwon. I met some English speakers on the street and they mentioned a weekly game at a bar called O'brien's. I'm on a DS so I'll keep it short--does anyone live here or play there? Maybe I'll see you tomorrow.

Cheers .

Help! I cant beat NL4 x( by theoneandonly, May 04

Hello, I have always enjoyed poker and played for fun with friends, I have some basic understanding of the game and have read a few articles, some from here, even tho they might be a bit out dated.

I decided to give poker for real a try, I deposited 50 dollars on doyles room with 33% rake back.

I started in Nl4 2 days ago, first day went fine I was up 11 dollars, 2nd day I lost 9 dollars, and today I started good, I was up 12 dollars, but then I lost some pots and ended up down to forty something dollars. its seem so swingy but I am trying really hard fml.

Any help is appreciated it
