Getting prepped to head to the casino tomorrow, pretty excited, going up with a successful cash player from here in Pittsburgh, hopefully for a nice weekend trip, maybe into next week, who knows.

Theres some softer tournaments I'm going to enter, a $100 BI on saturday thats pretty weak, going to try to play in that as well.

I went to canterbury the other day and got pretty much rizaped by the deck so I decided I'd cut my losses and head home early.

Playing 15/30 @ Canterbury Tomorrow as well. So it's gonna be a pretty hardcore action packed poker day after work.

Everyday at the bank I count SICK amounts of cash. Today I had to put 100.00 bills into rolls of 500$

They came straight from the fed which is ofc 10K stacks. I had to do 5 of them.

After working a little over a month there now, it doesnt even look real. pretty sick.

Hopefully one day I can be that balla, cept it'll be my own money im counting

Its beautiful, I am making 7$/day and I am running terrible.
Sure I might have some small leaks here and there but I am just ignore that.
My goal for the rest of the month is to improve my luck factor so I can win atleast 3/5 times when I am 80% fav. to win.
Right now its 1 I think.

I am going to read that article about luck which was posted here and see how I can improve.

So my upswing came to a cruel halt today and I managed to lose quite a few buyins in less than 30 minutes on some crazy hands ending with some unexplainable calls by randos on different tables. My only explanation is that my friend has a super virus on his computer that allows my opponents to see my cards face up because I don't understand how I can repop preflop and push on board of KQ84 and get called holding AA by A4 --->trip 4s or flop of AK10 only for super player to hit his set with 66 on turn when I'm holding AK. I'm now going to kill myself and rise from the grave a super-nit and bust these guys. Wish I had the HHs to post. Bad run pout over...

Got a shitload of bad beats/coolers today and i was about to tilt so i left and went back 1H later after cooling a lil bit. Second session was fine and i made 3 bis overall, not fantastic but im pleased with that result.

It's a big day for me. I finally reached $10k !! The next 'level' is $50k I guess and $100k then I'm also planning to move up the stakes when I reach 12k. If I lose like 3 - 4 BI, then I will go back to 200nl.
I think this month is going pretty good for me ( but it could be better tho ) and I'm happy with it. I'm up about 11 BI's after 11,5k hands ( yea I know I have to put more hands in ).
I think I'm also going to play Sunday Million on Stars Hopefully things go good and I'll win this shit :D (I'm skeptical about that though as everyone who plays it I guess)

Okay now ive played 46 SNG . not much , but i had to do lots of university stuff.
last 2 days were full of suckouts and bad beats as allready expectet.
but it doesnt affect me at all cause i play with 40+ buy ins
So even if i lose some buy ins its not worth any complaints.

my results so far are okay to half way decent considering i run decent for 2 days and medium bad for 2days..

46 SNG 2table 1,50+.25 $
TOTAL PROFIT + 31,70 $
I also only put a total of about 5 hours of work into it and i had some serious fun watching how bad the players at 1.75$ SNGS are

Pokerstars also is a very decent software compared to bad Everest Poker software which makes me happy,too

I also had an interesting hand which i am not sure if i played it bad or good. ( i am too lazy to search but i ll tell you about it)

SNG Final table 5 players left ... Top 4 get paid.
I am in 4th Position having 4500 chips.
blinds 200/400 blinds.

i get in early position.

I raise to 3BB making it 1200 ( not sure if i should have pushed all in T_T but i was somehow afraid to bust early position at the bubble with 2 bigger stacks behind me).

i get 2 callers both about 6500 chips. sb and BB fold.

So pot is 4200 chips.

i am first to act and bet 1200 into the pot.(1/3 potsize)
I id fold the hand on turn if i got 2 callers.
and i didnt want to risk going broke vs 2 bigger stacks behind me.
MP folds.
LP player Pushes all in .

Damn i was absolutely not sure if i should call.

my first thoughts on opponents mind were.

1200 seem like a weak bet into a 4200 chip pot so he thinks i have either a Monster or a medium/weak hand.
the other big stack folded so he has no danger of busting out in 5th place going broke.
there is a very high chance LP player thinks A high is good enough on this flop
ANd besides that he knows that i have to play very tight on the bubble.
The pot is big and he would be chipleader if he either beats me or bluffs me out of the pot.

SO i thought

-High chance he has A high and wants to bluff me out cause he knows i have to play tight and could not call with A high myself.
besides that he could not go broke even if his bluff fails
due to the other bigstack folding before him.

-High chance he has a low pair like 33 55 66, didnt push preflop cause of the other bigstack calling before him
and now thinks his low pair is good vs my A high and he would win big time if i call. ( i raised preflop so its likley i have an ace.besides that i made a weak 1200 bet into a 4200 pot so i think this doesnt look too strong for him and he probably thinks his 33 55 66 or whatever is good right there.)

- medium chance he has a Q or a 4 and actually is way ahead on the flop.

Have you guys ever noticed how some plays grow and decrese in popularity in the hand discussion forums?

A while back everybody hailed to potcontrolling the turn. Check behind! Blocker bet! I fucking love the smell of potcontrol in the morning!!!

After that monsterpoker was the new shit and we all just wanted to push everything into everyone, always.

Now finally, monster poker has given in to the new hip bet/fold and the dreaded minraise. Im not sure why, maybe since "bet/fold" has grown to be accepted as a phrase, and it sounds way cooler than "uhm bet the turn and then who knows?"

Seems like c/c is never even mentioned unless its in spite, and whenever somebody finds themselves in a strange spot with a monster theres always atleast one that suggest a fucking minraise.


I would like to point out that I have nothing against bet/folding but I do infact hate minraising. Anyways, all opinions about the plays aside we have to face it, bet fold is definitely the new black.

Fuck them and their slimey, greedy asses. I wanted a fucking delicious pizza (and they make them soo good), but to order just one medium pizza comes to $20 after a 10% tip. Are you fuckign kidding me? $20 for one medium? It has one topping too, pepperoni. I was on serious life tilt deciding if I should get the pizza or not but caved and just ordered.

that turn completes a flush we go on check/call mode only to find out the river card is 4 of a kind then we only realize he only only has medium top pair but completes the flush

that some gunshot striaght comes were force to play very weak then we realize he has a pair but the river connnected so he made a straight

that our overpairs won't hold because opponent has trips

that you flop a full house but your scared of a higher full house

that you flop top pair medium kicker but u never ever ever value bet you probably end up getting floated

that you flop TPTK you play so cautiously cause u always think he flopped two pair

that you never call a reraise from your small/medium pairs cause you know u never hit

that in the end of your session you won't even play aq aj cause your scared to lose all a day's worth

my title is bound to get attention ez..

so does anyone have money on rednines (prima skin) that they would trade for stars or fulltilt$? if so pm me or whatever..

so basically last month my new best month with +160k or so, which is good since in april i was -45k. my 2nd best month was +110k in may. I recently rented a house with iamalex in colorado, its nice 4 bed 4 bath 2500 sq ft hot tub like 73" tv 60" tv 40" tv lotsa cool stuff so i've been really busy for the first part of june with just moving and buying stuff. I finally got a nice bed set and nice desk and stuff and pretty much everything is going good.

i havn't played too many hands so far in june but so far im -10k, which is nothing basically but still sucks since it feels like im losing since i cashed out like 60k + for house items and spending money.. i'm going to be in vegas the 28th - june 2nd, but possibly longer if things go well and i get a good fake ID. I recently turned 18 (like a week ago) so yea. can't really think of anything else to say this is my first blog post in forever.

oh, i want to learn ohmaha i think i'm pretty proficient at it so far, made like 20-25k at 2/4 - 5/10 omaha, and i also want to try out the rednines prima poker thing, since its liek 62% rakeback apparently and has high stakes games. hopefully i can get like 10k+ on it and grind 5/10 or something.

Another very solid day yesterday, my second $2k day ever:

Basically, I was playing pretty well at first, just my standard TAG game, a little on the tighter side. Then I hit a dry run of cards, took a few beats, and couldn't seem to win a hand, and I went into the red. I took a short break, came back, and really upped the aggression. I wasn't really playing a LAG game, but I was splashing around in a lot of pots, and abusing position to the fullest. I probably played like 23/17 or so over the last 3k or so hands.

All in all, a very awesome day. I really like the way I played from about hand 2k onwards, and definitely am going to keep adjusting my style. After the big day, I've fully recovered from my downswing on Monday, plus another $400 or so, and I got my May rakeback yesterday, so my BR is in great shape for another run at NL $400. I'll probably take some shots there today, then mix in more tables tomorrow.

grinding 2/4 worked out as I expected, I have pretty much been destroying the games while 8-tabling the last few days. I feel good about the fact that I have been putting in good hours playing since I have gotten so lazy lately. From what I can remember 600nl isnt much tougher than 400nl so Im probably moving up soon enough, but I really enjoy playing this overrolled so I might stay on 400nl for a little while longer. + I played a short session of 600nl and got completely pwnd and the pain still lingers in my memory.

Ugh, so after having over 1500 in sng winnings over the past month or so I'm essentially busto. Its the same old sob story, I cashed out too much and left myself with 120 or so which I knew was a bad idea (I had to pay my mom back for an insurance payment I missed on my truck and I had to pay for my next truck payment) I played a session of $6 sng with my whole roll out (like 15 tables or something) and I had a typical sng hiccup the short term variance can be kind of wild in them. Anyways I have 50 dollars left... I really need to get back to 250 or so, otherwise I can't afford my shit. I dunno I feel really sick right now just thinking about how bad this could be.

So I made a nice cashout today, left myself with a couple bills, bought into alot of tournaments during this afternoon with $90..

30 minutes after im rolling in each tournament with huge stacks my internet goes out for 3 hrs, leaving me in one tournament (deepstacked $20 where I had doubled in start), but didnt have enough chips to manage a comeback. I bust 10 short of the money AK vs J8 allin PF

Wait 20 minutes, and start buying into alot of tournaments again, same shit happens, net goes out but only for 30 minutes this time. Leaving me short on most of my tables. After this frustration has finally set in, and some donkey plays come out.

Now I get set up KKsb vs button AA, AA vs TT, AK vs AQ in all the tournaments I care about.
Atleast I can FUCKING HATE online poker now while I stop instead of wanting to play again.

So, to wrap it up - unforseen circumstances took half of what I left online, and stars took made sure to take the rest.

$35 left online...unless I can win one of the remaining games going, lol
who cares i guess, only money

Sigh, i hate the swings that come with poker. Can be doing so well then all it takes is 3 hands and boom there goes all the money you made in the session.
