This is the big day! Although the major beat is that my original plan was to get there yesterday afternoon, unfortunately we couldn't get a room at the Wynn over the weekend so we had to wait til Sunday. Yesterday I spent all day packing and preparing for my journey out to the WSOP. I'm so excited I can't wait. Went to the bank and asked the lady for $2,000 in small bills (Mostly $1's and $20's) and she's like "You going to make me count all that?" LOL... Ofcourse!

It felt weird, it was actually the first time I went to the bank and withdrew more than $500. Then Lyric has to crash my party and remind me that anything under a $100 bill doesn't play on the poker tables. Asdf... So I go back to the bank and get the same lady to give me $100's for most of my $20's. She now hates my guts obv.

Anyways, this has been a pretty decent month of poker for the most part. I'm up $4,200 total in cash games, and like $1500 from tournaments (mostly from getting deep in the Sunday a week ago). Since I'm bringing $6k to Vegas, that makes me about break even if I end up going busto there. Woot!

I fell like King of the Pokerstars micro SNG HIll.

I run like shit today ... i got cooler after cooler bad beat after bad beat and i lost so many hands where i felt like the secure winner.
ALl in all todays Poker session was absolutely no fun.
It was hard work making money while fighting alot more against bad luck then the other players.

besides that i got shittalked alot when someone took my chips with a lucky beat.

I was called newb more than 5 times today.
Besides that lots of people claimed to perfectly read my play T_T

The most funny guy i played HU and he( i didnt remember his name) claimed to read me like an open book when actually i bluffed him out of the Pot 3 times in a row.
and folded to him twice having nothing but air.
then there was the following situation.

I had about 13K chips and he had 14 K chips
he raised preflop to 3 K chips
i called with KJ
FLOP K 4 T
he pushed all in and i called.
He had QQ and was like wtf i am such a looser i can only win with suckouts.
Turn 4 river Q ....

yeha.

After that he told me about 2 minutes how he dominated me the whole heads up match.
args.

Its so funny how everyone at 1.75$ thinks he is an expert while they have absolutely no idea about Poker.

Nevertheless i made some money today
Played about 25 SNG and made exactly + 15 $

Heyy guys

Well I still dont have my BR all on one site but Ive been playing pretty good recently so I decided Id go back to 200nl. Last couple days have been pretty sweettttt... Along w/ the ring game cash I also finished off a 650$ bonus so Im pretty happy with that as well. Should be able to grind 200nl for about a month and half then look to PP 400nl ...Im just wondering for some reason I cant datamine on PP I thought you could there?? If anyone does lemme know.

I stupidly forgot to enable instant hand histories after my switch to pokerstars tonight but anyways.

It's been an interesting week to say the least. I got a part-time job doing technical support for primus telecom, my ex-girlfriend is paying me back the $500 she owes me and I'm moving in with my best mate. There hasn't been much time for poker but I loaded $50 onto pstars tonight with the intention of grinding 10NL for a few weeks.

After three hours I am currently up just under 5 BIs ($98.40) after playing some really A-grade poker. I really have no reservations about playing beneath my normal limits while I grind up a new bankroll so this is already a lot of fun. Hopefully I can get some charts going now that I've remembered the damn hand histories!

Currently planning on playing in the $340 buy-in NLHE, the $240+100R and the $1,100 HU events at the crown victorian poker championships next month, it's going to be insane.

Anyways the next time I post I'll probably be moved into my new place in brighton complete with a couple of 22" LCDs I want to buy to flank my 23" apple cinema display. PIMP? Oh yeah.

Here is my graph for june. Even though my mind is 99% made up that i will drop school after this semester if i reach 11k Br by end of august. For example rekrul drop out for starcraft, and dropping out from poker is way more financially stable. Making around 20$/hour is more than waht i expect after playing for 2months.

i been running extremely hot on turbos but there's this weird lobby thing that keeps fuckin me over

everytime i register for a torunament.. after my name is on there i close the lobby because there's too many windows and i need to register for another. then when the lobby is full and the tournament starts, sometimes ur tournament dont pop up for some reason.... wtf! and when u leave pokerstars after a 1 or 2 hr sessions they tell u that ur still registered for a tournament that ended. comon... fuckin bugged

since im a heavy multi tabler im losing a lot of fucking money because of this. and im keeping lobbies open for now on.

also when u register for a tournament the main lobby minimizes.. so fuckin annoying.

MORE RANT:
FTP gave me a $500 bonus and i decided to get back to cash games for a bit and grind it out. but the software lags so fuckin bad after the new update and i cant play.

I played my first session in 2 months, with a $200 bankroll.

This is the first time i'm actually using PT efficiently. I couldn't use it the last time because I was using a cracked version.

Please comment on any stats or hands that I post. As of now, I know very little about what these numbers mean. =D

So my first day of summer break wasnt the best ever - me and my friend ended up at the police house and might get convicted for some gay shit we did when we were drunk, though, theres no real witnesses so we got a chance to just slip out of it wich im really praying for. At least 66.66% of the cops who took us was really nice but it didnt make it feel a lot better (the last 33.33 percentage were so totally gay).

This made my parents confiscate my computer for a while, wich might be a week i guess so my plans about grind as hell now when we have a break got insta-crushed thanks to my stupid handlings.

Anyway i really hope the police wont go further to this and take us in to hear us but it feels like they will. Well at least summer break cant get worse then it is now!

Had to rebuild my PC for the 2nd time in the past month. There was some shitty Realtek audio driver that was crashing my harddrive; ah well, got me a new harddrive out of it.

Thursday was a winning session, but pretty ho-hum overall.

This morning was very interesting even though I finished exactly even. I 9-tabled for the first time in a while, and sort of fell right back into it without losing much stats. 850 hands this morning alone -- gonna be very tempting to keep 9-tabling from now.

Got stacked 3 times for my only real losses: My KK's got setted twice by the same motherfucker, and a pretty sorry beat for the 3rd BI. Could have gotten away from the AAx board, but...meh.

Went to the bars last weekend, and suffered a pretty bad beat

So today is the 5th day of me grinding the 1,50+.25 $ SNGS
I am satisfied with my play and my results are okay so far.

I played a total of 58 2table 1.75$ SNG
PROFIT + 43,24 $

Actually i am crushing them hardcore and the reason i am not up more is bad beats and set ups since there have only 4-5 situations occured in the 58 SNG wehere i busted out due to bad play.

So i am actually satisified having earned 25 buy ins in 5 days mostly due to good play.

So I went lastnight to play poker with my friends and it absolutely sucked. I felt like playing at PokerStars or something

We were 8players and I busted out in pretty soon, like 7th or something lol...

I lost most of my chips in 2 pots.

In the very very first hand of the night, I had KJs in the BB. 6out of the 8players limped in and well I checked my BB. Flop came K-K-9 and just to make it short, a friend had Nines full of Kings and my KJ couldn't overcame that.

Later on, I had AKo and raised it to 8chips (50chips per player with blinds at 1/2). 2 friends called. Flop came A-A-8. And yeah, I lost most of my stack there with a friend who flopped Eights full of Aces...

I felt pretty bad and dissapointed because of those badbeats. I wasn't allowed to Rebuy because 2 girl friends had to be at home early... bah ;( After winning in 3 out of the last 4times we got there to play, going busto now feels pretty shitty lol :D

Goddammit, I had a long ass entry written out and then it got deleted. Anyway, yesterday was a pretty good day, up $1571 in a mix of NL $400 and $200, plus a shot at NL $600 in which I lost a big pot with JJ before winning a huge won here:

I was up like $2500 at one point though, before losing a huge pot with black AA when the board came out 4 diamonds. I was $1200 deep there against a huge fish, and lost about $600 on the hand. Kind of frustrating, but still a very good day.

According to my BR numbers, I'm actually up $10,254.1 from the tables so far in June. I've also earned another $1,600+ in rakeback and bonuses, so I've got a pretty good shot at making this a $25k or even a $30k month. I'm going to continue to play both NL $400 and $200, and going to try to practice some better table selection. I'll also take occasional shots at NL $600 when I find someone on my buddy-list playing there. Who knows, I might even take some shots at $1k NL before the month is out (I actually played like 25 hands there last month and made like $50). Life and poker are pretty good right now.

I stopped playing party poker after my downswing. I’ve been playing on Titan poker casually.

So I was on a bad run, but I think I am somewhat to blame too. Its part of what I do to be able to get away from these setups and fold. I also picked a bad time to play, when the tables were full of tight regulars.

I kept playing when I was losing money. Consciously I was checking myself for signs of tilt and I tried to play through it. I really hate leaving a losing session, I want very strongly to win.
Its something I will let go in the future and just quit when I start getting emotional at all.

I feel very confident I can beat NL5 on any given day, but NL 10 is giving me trouble. Attempted to move up twice, but setups, bad beats and then trying too hard to have a winning session knocks me back down.

Also the players there are a lot nittier than NL5. Suddenly C-betting is my biggest form of income. Still they are fairly passive, letting me hang myself on their sets. My style from NL5 just seems to be getting me stacked, (ironically with an almost exactly inverse winrate )
I’ll need to review hands and figure out the best way to adapt my play to these stakes in a future post.
